These videos were produced in the U.K. where the television format (called PAL) is different than in North America (where it is called NTSC). Because of this difference video tapes from the UK will not work on a North American player.
I wanted to view these tapes so made arrangements with the publisher to have a small batch made in NTSC format. I announced their availablility on a couple of Ferguson discussion boards and had a flurry of interest, and now have just a few of each left.
