Catfishing was FANTASTIC this summer due to high water levels. We caught 72 Cats in one day with 3 of us in the boat. 44 Cats would be a normal day. The fall greenback run was also quite amazing for lots of fishermen in October.
I have seen more huge trophy Walleyes caught this season than ever before - A great season. We fished till Nov. 14 .

The mouth of the Winnipeg River at Traverse Bay
is an exciting fishery in Fall, 8 miles north of the Boat Launch at Pine Falls. If you're looking for Trophy Greenbacks, this is the place.. The first 3 weeks in Oct. are usually the best time. I have a large cabin that sleeps 8 fishermen comfortably, with a huge Kitchen and large family room with Satelite TV, - 20 min. from the Launch.
