WE'RE BACK - Portfolio update coming soon!!! along with some 'cleaning up' of the site...

The Wyoming Valley Investor's Club was established in January 1997 and will be starting its 10th year in 2006. We are members of the National Association of Investor's(NAIC). We currently have 21 members. New members are required to make an initial investment of $1,000.00 as well as the current club minimum. Membership is currently capped at 22.

Each member initially contributed $100.00 and the monthly investment is $50.00 per month. The unit valuation method is used, thus allowing members to invest more than the $50 minimum, each unit will be valued at $10.00. The club has adopted a 5% penalty for member withdrawals, to be reviewed on a yearly basis. There is a $10.00 fine for late monthly payments. The club has also adopted an attendance policy of 5 meetings. Club policies of quorum, stock purchase and sale have also been established. Information may be obtained from Roseann Nardone, Secretary. Records have been inputted on the NAIC accounting software and is in use as of January 2000.

The W.V.I.C. meets bi-monthly (Jan,March,June,Sept.,Nov.) on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7PM. The meetings are held at Nardone Consulting, 58 Pierce Street, Kingston, PA or other sites. The web site will be updated on a regular basis.

Our original goal is to develop a diversified portfolio of at least 100 shares of each stock the club owns. We currently own 24 companies. The club is discussing liquidation of EMC, LU, MHS, VIA.B, and WMT to reinvest in other companies. Our most recent purchase was KFN and we are currently looking into the following companies: ECA, PCZ, ARCC and AINV, among others

The club holds two social functions, an annual Summer picnic and a Christmas party.
