| My name is Jewel, my daughter Bonnie and I run our farm together. We live on 10 acres in NW PA, surrounded by state game lands on three sides, to us it's a little slice of heaven. |
| We've been raising goats for a number of years and maintain a very small herd, enough to call it fun and not an extra job. We breed to keep our standards and quality high, we won't sell anything that we would not keep for ourselves. All animals have tested neg. CAE through Washington State. |
| Our kids are on a CAE prevention program with heat treated colostrum & pasturized milk. The does are brought to our basement to kid & the kids are removed immediately to a playpen. They are fed grain and an alfalfa grass mix hay. |
| The milk is given to the pigs and calves we raise and we also make and sell soap, lotions & fudge. Our main priority is to breed animals with excellent dairy character. We try to be very honest about our animals, good and bad points, since none are perfect. |
| A $ 100.00 deposit is required to reserve a kid, first come - first served basis. Refunds only if the kid of your choice is not born or we decide to retain it for the herd or it isn't up to our standards. All fees incurred for transport, shipping, health papers, specific tests or innoculations or medical expenses are extra. We reserve the right to decide not to offer a kid for sale if we choose to retain it for our herd or if it is not up to our standards. |
| Prices quoted are prices here at the farm up to 1 month of age. After that, the prices may be raised. On all buck kids sold, we reserve the right to secure 20 straws of semen for the cost of the collection. |
| We take the utmost pride and care of our animals and generally spoil the heck out of them. We fly Delta Dash out of Pittsburgh International Airport, but would love for you to come and pick up your choice here at the farm. It would give you a chance to see what I can't capture with a camera and make new friends. |
