Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature event. It is a unique 24-hour event to increase cancer awareness while raising much needed funds for the American Cancer Society.

Teams of at least 10 people take turns walking, running, or strolling around a large track facility for 24 consecutive hours. Participants will "camp out" with family and friends, enjoying the music, entertainment, food and friendship while building team spirit to help in the fight against cancer. It is an event, to honor and celebrate the lives of those who lost thier lives to cancer,  those who are battling cancer and those who have survived the battle.
It's a 24-hour party and you are invited!

During each Relay for Life, a beautiful and highly emotional Luminary Ceremony takes place. Luminary bags, many with special personal messages, are set around the track.  At dusk, the candles inside are lit in honor of those fighting cancer or in memory of those who have lost their battle.
