On Saturday evening, August 10, 2002, a reunion of the
Florida and Bahamas Elden cousins was held. It was the first time most of
us had ever met, even though our fathers, Harry and Percy Elden, were brothers.
But Harry moved to Miami, Florida at age 15 in 1929 while Percy remained
in the Bahamas. It was not until the death of Harry in 1977 that daughters
of Percy first learned that they had relatives living in the United States.
The Radisson Hotel was the location and dinner was held in its dining room.
