Gerry and Walt had attended several "one night events" where square dancing was featured and thought this is kinda fun - we oughta do it more often.

In January 1984 we found out what "more often" meant to square dance folks.  It meant taking a class once a week for the better part of a year and getting hopelessly confused with what seemed like hundreds of "calls".  Square Dancing, we decided was not for the faint of heart - but it was fun - and the folks we met were top notch.
Nearly 20 years later we've found Square Dancing to be a multiple dimensioned activity with expanding depth in at least 4 of those dimensions.  We're talking physical activity, mental activity, social activity, and leadership activity - to name a few.
Our current association is with the "Generics", an "A2 APD/DBD" club in Cupertino, California.
And, least we forget, one of the really fun places to spend a week square dancing is in McCloud, California on the south slope of Mt Shasta at ===>
