Big Ditch Park, downtown Silver City. This used to be Main Street, but in a flash flood many years ago, the street was washed out and sank 55 feet.

Six miles north of Silver City in the small community of Pinos Altos, we find galleries, museums and the historic Buckthorn Saloon and restaurant. Reservations suggested.

Pinos Altos Church Gallery. Works of Arts & Crafts by local Grant County Art Guild members.

Adjacent to the Bucthorn is the Opera House. Melodramas are performed here.
