Karinn's Ego

Carolina (aka Karinn) Krawarik was raised "not very outdoorsy at all". With the exception of some hiking in the Alps (as a child) and a bit of skiing, she has virtually no mountaineering experience. She does, however, have the benefit of being the sister of Alex Krawarik and according to her; "That has made all the difference!"

Her most hardcore mountaineering experience so far, has been The Trough at Tahquitz, CA... and she was practically hoisted up the route by leader, Summer Locke. Other than that, Carolina's been lots of places and has the pictures to prove it - but we can't say she's actually ever done anything impressive.

Despite these facts, Carolina likes to think she's "All That". When asked why she started Wander Women, she replied easily enough:
"So I could tell people where to go...
... and I thought the logo was too cool not to have on my clothes."

She mostly hikes alone with her dog because no-one else can put up with her macho attitude... or the smell of cheap whiskey. :)
