If you're planning on riding in Oregon, you must attend the basic skills course to receive your endorsement. Take your completion card to DMV, pay the fee and you're endorsed. Excellent instruction to start out everybody from the nervous novice to the returning rider. Personally I give a LOT of shit to anybody I meet that rides and hasn't taken the course; it's that valuable. Your life may depend upon it someday. Or maybe the life of somebody you love. |

After years of dragging my feet I finally decided to add the AMA to the links page. Good or bad, like them or hate them, they have done a lot for motorcycling overall. Plus, if you want to race motorcycles, you must be an AMA member. Also, many family style clubs require AMA membership to join their clubs. Lastly, in honor of my mother I post this link. |
