Oh sweet child of mine,
I love you so and I would if i could,
keep the pain and sorrow faraway,
I seem to be dragging it into your life,
I want you to know that I truly love you my sweet son,
I would never bring you sorrow and I will always listen to your heart...........
I stop in the middle of the night to listen to you breathe,
and smile knowing that you are here,
I chose to be your mother,
I chose to love you more than life itself,
I will listen to your fears and to your joys,
I will comfort you, I will trust you my son!
Sweet child of mine!
Sweet little one, Your momma loves you so much!
Sweet child of mine!
I chose to be your mom!
I choose to be your friend!
I choose to listen patiently to your tales!
I choose to tell you the truth.....
226.Frustration
Comes in one word Jacob,
Jacob I love you and I know that you are hurting,
I love you, Jacob, you are my child,
He won't answer the phone,
He's not doing what he needs to do in school.
He is arrogant and awful,
Is this my son?
The sweet child who always helped me?
He destroys things!
He hurts, I can see his anger,
I don't know how to help him,
Frustration!
I wish I could change things to make your life okay,
Change happens to us all,
Some we like some we don't,
We have to learn to accept it...
Anger will not make things better,
It will only make it harder for you to adjust,
It is okay to be angry,
We all get angry,
I wish I knew what to do?
Frustration!
You are also my friend,
If you need to talk I am here for you..
I will never turn my back from you..
Talk to me, tell me of your pain and of your anger,
Don't let it eat you up from inside,
If you do it will fester and hurt more than any one,
Person can stand, I know, I have done this!
I am here if you need me,
I love you,
And as your mother,
I want to make everything perfect for you,
I can't do that all of the time,
Even though I want to...
Being 12 is very hard and being 13,
Won't get any easier!
But I am your mom....and I do love you..
