About S.J.U.RK.S.

The Spinning Jacked Up Rurouni Kenshin Shrine was created by Myaka T. in late of 1999.  Swamped with work, I was unable to begin this site earlier.

Finally, I was able to work on this site mid 2000.  I couldn't think of a unique name for my distorted site.  I finally stubbled on a picture that really captivated my eyes, Himura Kenshin spinning.  Thus, The Spinning Jacked Up Rurouni Kenshin Shrine was born.

The name started out as The Spinning Jacked Up Rurouni Kenshin Shrine but as I continued working on the site, I realized how the name "falls in".  The acronym  was "S.J.U.R.K.S."  It's not something so nice but hey, at least it's something to laugh at.  (For those who didn't get it, it's "S" "Jerks")  

This site has no intention of causing any enfringement of any kind. (Excuse any of my misspellings. =p)  This site is created by a fan and are intended for fans only.  

The layout of this site originally was very dull and plain.  I spiced it up with another layout that had DHTML effects.  Then, I changed the layout ONCE again.  This third layout is still plain but I guess, I'm a plain person. =)  This layout had the idea from another Rurouni Kenshin site : http://surf.to/rkshrine/.  That shrine is EXCELLENT.  I give them GREAT credit for the design of the site that I have right now.  Thankies Sano san!!! 

  I've been getting some fanmail [I never expected it. ^_^] saying that my site was the first site to dedicate to the deformities of the anime Rurouni Kenshin.  This site ISN'T the best in the world, the layout isn't THAT original, the information isn't THAT great, but I would like to thank you everyone for supporting me!!!  

I have a feeling if the Juppon Gatana ever reviewed my site, they would probably give me like a -30 on their scale. ^^;;;  Dah well, we need some GOOD critics these days.  That's why I support them! =D  N-e-wayz, thanx everyone again for the nice support!!!
