I am just learning to play the violin as an adult. This is the first time in my life I've really tried learning any instrument, (other than playing with a keyboard, and I have to admit that formal instruction seems to be helping a lot. I love Celtic music and this page is going to contain links to those pieces that I will be using to practice and learn with. I'm including sheet music of my practice tunes, put together with Lilypond as well as lyrics and midi files of the tunes. I find that the midi files help me learn the timing of the tunes much easier than using a metronome.
