Black Fur and Green Eyes
Snuggle close
Keep me company
How safe and calm it feels
With my protector at my heels.
No mice nor roach
or piece of crumbed paper
will get near me tonight!
Happy I write
with CAT by my side
She surveys the air
and sees my thoughts
go by..
I write softly and whisper words
CAT guards silently
my rhyme
not to disturb
