Move of God Deliverance - Austell GA
Pastor Mary Madison (who was called Mother Madison by mostly all who knew her) was born in Upson County, city of Malena GA. Her family moved to Austell GA where she met her husband. God blessed this union with 8 children.
Then one day some people came by preaching Jesus. After hearing the Word concerning Jesus Christ, she threw up her hands praising God. She then gave up her life and went to a church baptizing in the name of JESUS CHRIST. God filled her with the Holy Ghost.
Through many adversities, trials and tribulations God has kept Mother Madison. He has moved mightly for her over the years. He took her through cancer, the lost of her son and her husband. She has a beautful testimony regarding the miracles God has performed on her behalf.
Now, those who attend Move of God Deliverance, where she was pastor, considered her a Watchman.
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. Ezekiel 3:17
MINISTRY
Over the years God has really used Mother Madison. He gave her much insight into His Word. The one thing she liked to make clear to just about everyone she could was it's just "ONE DOOR & JESUS is that DOOR".
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:8-10
APOSTLES DOCTRINE:
Move Of God Deliverance believes in the apostles doctrine (commandments given to them by Jesus) for the people of God.
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Acts 1:1-2
SALVATION:
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. St John 3:5
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12Now, this leads us to the baptism. The scripture says "One Lord, one faith, one baptism,", yet there are still different baptisms. Some even call baptism symbolic (that's another topic), however I believe God's Word.
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:". Today, they just repeat what JESUS said and don't baptize in the name which is JESUS CHRIST.
If you were baptized any way other than in JESUS'name, the Bible calls you a thief and a robber in John 10:1.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:37- 38
