Fur Farms

Fur farms are a horrible atrocity full of pain and suffering... all for fashion? The animals are crowded into tiny filthy cages. Foxes are generally kept in cages that are 2.5 square feet. Minks are kept in cages one by 3 feet. There are anywhere from one to four animals in a cage. They are also fed extremely unhealthy diets which consist mainly of meat and fish. The food they are fed is too foul for pet food. They can freely drink mucky water from a drinking system except of course for when it freezes in the winter. Because of this diet and unsanitary conditions, the animals often catch many diseases. When their time comes for them to be slaughtered, they are stuffed into boxes with up to 20 in a box. They are then poisoned with hot unfiltered engine exhaust. Does this remind you of anything from history class? However, as horrible as this is, some animals don't die from this. Some wake up while being skinned alive. Other animals are painfully electricuted while other animal's necks are snapped. This is the cruel fate that animals raised on fur farms must go through.

Fast Fur Facts:

1/3 Million animals are killed on fur farms each year.

Foxes are kept in tiny cages only 2.5 square feet with up to four animals in each cage.

Minks are in cages 1 foot by three feet with up to four animals in each cage.

Animals on fur farms are either gassed, electrocuted, poisoned, or have their neck snapped.  These methods are not always 100% effective, and some animals will wake up while being skinned alive.
