THE SCARLET DESTINY CRUSADE

THE SCARLET CRUSADE has swept through Lookshy and now the Realm's forces have reached Nexus in what has been an already brutal campaign. The invasion have secured the eastern shore and the merchant city with the aid of the First Age machines known as the Angels. With the Sevength Legion scattered and divided, the remainging Scavenger Lands ground force have begun to make battleplans in the southern region of the Threshold in Adon and Akron. As the Scavenger Lands scramble to mount a defense against the lightning seige of the Realm, a circle of Solar Exalted uncovering the secrets of the Angels. The hunt for origins of the mysterious Angels has led them into an alliance with the Mask of Winters in order to turn the tide of war. After treking deep near the lands of Ma Ha Suchi the circle found the secret to the Angels lies with the Deathlord, the de-throned Princess Magnificent with Lips of Coral and Robes of Black Feathers. She is the only hope for the Threshold to regroup and survive the fourth invasion.

The Burning Forest was once a calm and dense forest of trees until one day fire rained from the heavens and lit the trees ablaze. The fire burns during the day and rages at night. Howls and screams can be heard coming from wuthin the forest as well as the grinding of metal. Local animals have long fled the wooded area in seek of refuge from the smoldering heat. The phenomenon has yet to be understood and all whom ventured into the Buring Forest has yet to return. The city of Lion's Gate has recently started to see blood trickle in the grass fields around the Burning Forest.

THE KINGDOM OF IRON A year has passed since the Kingdom of Iron leveled Gem and their near capture of the Lap. Refuges of Gem has reported terrible sandstorms after a great iron wall was erected by the machine people. The sudden change has hit the southern region hard so much so that the denizens of the south have named the weather phenomenon the Thousand Storms. On days when the storms rage endlessly, strange lights can be seen scouring the outskirts of the iron wall, searching old ruins near the machine city.

The only neighbors the Kingdom of Iron have not advanced on is the city of the Fallen Sun. This First Age city is the site of a number of ruins that the machine people recognize including a large scultped face that fell from the after the end of the First Age. It is now home to southern drifters called the "Caretakers". The city is actually a large sculpted face of some unknown Solar Exalt which the Caretakers discovered after deciphering the old realm hyrogliphics. Even with the viscous standstorms raging daily, the city of the Fallen has never been buried by the sands of the south. Thus far the machine people have been silent and all communication attempts by the Caretakers have not been answered...

MIDGUARD

In the far northeast seas brave ships have sent word of a water spout of great beauty that rose high in the sky. Sailors spoke of seeing hundred of myriad lights circling the magical spout night and day humming a serene tune unable to be described by even their best bard. Any whom dared to go beyond the own looking glass  have vanished to be never seen again. Mnay say the spout is but a sign of things to come....
