Fanart About Kazuya

Fanart here is generally ‘about’ Kazuya – that is, with him as a central dominant figure in the action, or with him alone. This may vary, and images here may also be found in the Fanart Containing Kazuya section. To see more art by the artist, view their biography.

Crimson Kazuya | G | Invisible

Medium: Cartridge paper, sketching pencils, black fineline pen, then scanned and Photoshopped.

Summary: This is Kazuya Mishima as a vampire inspired by the excellent fan fiction 'Crimson' written by Obsidian (go and read it now!). Although the torso is a little long and the background isn't great, I was kinda pleased with how it turned out, hope you enjoy!

3D Art | G | Obsidian |

Medium: 3D Studio Max R3, Character Studio

Summary: These two models are the latest results of my lazy attempts at modelling for Quake III Arena. The one on the left is the original model, around 3380 polys in size; the one on the right weighs only 1300 or so, and has been reshaped and cut down so it doesn’t kill Quake III when someone tries to play it. I have yet to properly biped and animate him, along with skin him. It’ll be a while before you see him with a BFG or a Gauntlet...

Muddy Chibis | G | Obsidian |

Medium: Sketch book, many a graphite pencil, black felt tip markers

Summary: This is another soccer game shot...after Jin and Kazuya have been having a nice friendly game - AFTER it’s rained, naturally. Imagine having these two traipsing through your house, your lovely clean carpets and tiles...in THAT state!

...I apologise for my terrible handwriting o.x

Disasterpiece | G | Obsidian

Medium: Double-bound 210 GSM sketch pad, mechanical graphite pencil, at least one entire mechanical eraser cartridge *wince*, black felt tip pens

Summary: I’ve been told off for calling this one a ‘disasterpiece’ on several occasions. The fact is, I’m not happy with how some of the features came out. I am, on the other hand, rather pleased with how most of the lines came out, and most of the detail. That’s why I’m flaunting it ^_^ Oh, and please don’t mind the large ugly line down the middle...the paper was large, and I had to scan it in two parts, and hastily throw it together on PhotoShop.

An Attempt At Anime | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, black felt tip pens, Faber-Castle watercolour pencils

Summary: This is an ANCIENT, I stress ANCIENT attempt at drawing Kazuya in anime - my own anime style. I didn’t like the way he was drawn in the official anime, so I tried to rectify the appalling attempt. My lines are a little wonky here, but eh, I can live with it. It’s still kyoot, in my opinion ^_^;

Femme Fatale | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, graphite pencil, fine tip inky pen things

Summary: This is ‘Kazume’; Kazuya’s female counterpart from a story/RPG I’m working on in my head. It’s simply this: What happens if Heihachi passed on an X chromosome instead of a Y? You get a very dangerous female version of Kazuya, that’s what...mwaha!

This image also goes along beautifully with the RP session where Cheeb turned my poor Kazuya into a woman...>.>;

Tainted | PG-13 (Shounen-ai/yaoi image, no nudity) | Obsidian

Medium: 2H mechanical graphite pencil, printer paper

Summary: A very, very, VERY strange picture, this. No idea what inspired it, either. Basically, it’s Kazuya from Jakunen Mirai getting snogged by Kazuya from Crimson. Yes I did say snogged. That’s what the yaoi warning is for! Homophobes and young and/or impressionable persons should not view...everyone else, have a good drool ~_^ I’ll be ‘photoshopping’ this one in the future, because that’ll make it all the more saucy ^_^;

Plushified | G | Obsidian

Medium: polycotton, scissors, needle, thread

Summary: Fanart of a different kind; this is a plushie I sewed by hand. He is nearly two feet tall, and VERY cuddly ^_^; I even made the muscle tone on his chest! If anyone really, really wants...I can take a few shots of him in different outfits; so far, I’ve made him the classic Tekken Tag Tournament PSX intro outfit...the coat is even made out of fake leather! ^___^;; I managed to find gold satin to make the tie out of too...I didn’t get around to making the waistcoat before I took the shots.

If anyone weeeally weeeeally wants me to take more piccies of him, then just ask ^^;

Here are a few more of him...to come =\

Bruised | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil

Summary: Post-Tekken 2; Kazuya’s taken a beating from someone or something; the scars across his cheeks are fresh and still bleeding (will show up when the picture is coloured). You decide whether he’s lying down or leaning against a wall. Point is...he’s been hurt, but is oblivious to the pain as much as is possible, though he feels the weakness and exhaustion, as is clear on his face.

This art piece has undergone updates and reworks...the old edition is below, for comparison.

Don’t Mess With Me | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Tekken Tag based, I think. I’m not sure what I was trying to do here. At any rate, I’m proud of the amount of detail I crammed into this one. I stuffed up his left arm, but who cares?

Memoirs Of The Late Kazuya Mishima | G | Obsidian

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This is from Ashes to Ashes, another of my stories; the tale of a family which lost its only child. Yes, Kazuya died when he fell down that cliff this time. In this picture, his ghost sits in a corner, watching silently. The skirting board behind him shows right through him, as if he weren’t there at all...

More Gnaw... | G | Obsidian

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil

Summary: This is what happens when one tries to molly-coddle a chibi Kazuya. This, my friends, was a 1-minute sketch, and most definitely looks it. Still, amongst the sloppy lines...you might see the humour in my bad drawing ^_^;

Kazperiments | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Here I was experimenting with a new image for Kazuya, to go with an idea I’ve had for a while; adopting Kazuya into a nice warm Australian family. These are the first sketches of him - age seventeen, bright and chirpy, with shorter hair. Yes, they’re kinda crappy...because they’re ancient!

 Inseparable | G | Obsidian

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Kazuya and Devil, chibified, and inseparable. Are they friends or foes? Depends on the story, naturally; if it’s Illusions, they’re like brothers. If it’s just about any other story, in the next frame they’ll be at each other’s throats...

Just Like A Computer Image...But Not | G | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: I drew this out of boredom at school. It kinda looks a bit like those computer-created images with characters layered over one another, only it was hand-drawn. That’s why it looks kind of warped. Then again, I don’t know how to draw Steve or Christie without something in front of me ^_^

Schnuggoo... | PG | Obsidian

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: An affectionate moment between an anime Kazuya and Jun. This was from when I was just learning how to draw anime properly...so be warned of weirdness. Tekken 2 timeline here, I think...can’t remember.
