Hawker Fury MKI G-BKBB:
This aircraft is very special. This is a Hawker Fury MKI. It was rebuilt in 1981. It has many new parts included so some might consider this as a replica. But also many original parts are used in this plane. For example; it is powered by a very rare original Kestrel engine. This machine is the only surviving airworthy example of this historic biplane fighter in the world. Is made some very rare public displays around 1993-1996. It was registered at that time as OO-HFU. The aircraft was very badly dameged during a crash at a belgian airshow in 1996. It was completly rebuild and made some test flights in 2000. It was on static display in the shuttleworth museum at Old Warden in the UK from 2000 to 2003. It made it's last flight in 2003 when it flew back to Belgium. It is now stored (not flown), but maintained in full airworthy condition in Belgium.

It can be seen above as it was in february 2004.
