19th december 2005:

Several updates have been made today:

2 more pictures from Mr Victor Krijt have been added (from the Stearman N9912H and C-47 N47FK)

I also new photos came from Mr. G.J. Mentink. Added today are pictures from the Klemm D35 D-ECCI, Piper L4H D-EGMG and DC3 PH-PBA.

To conclude: the Belgian Based Tipsy Trainer 2 now has a picture on this page.

I got some up to date info about the Yakkes Foundation via Ethienne Verhellen. He also provided some great pictures about the recently arrived Yak 52 G-CBSS.

21st August 2005:

A Fokker S11 section has been added in the post 1945 page with pics of PH-GRB and PH-ACG. Also a P51D Mustang which is reported to be operated in Belgium has been added to the page.
The dutch based B-25 is now operated by the SKHV (or RNAFHF Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight). A link to the SKHV/RNAFHF has also been added on the links page.

26th july 2005:

Kristof Vandermoere reported that Stampe SV4C has left Antwerp and is based at Moorsele in Belgium now.

Another News fact is that the Supermarine Spitfire MK XVI G-OXVI is reported to be sold to Spitfire Ltd in the UK. The machine will change it coloursheme soon and be operated from Duxford (UK).

This Afternoon, the new official homepage of the flying legends Collection based at the airfield of Kortrijk Wevelgem in Belgium wil become online. There wil be a link available from the link page. Please note that I recently started with the construction of this new website and the page is stil under development.

25th april 2005:

On april 15th, the dutch based P51 Mustang abandoned the American register in favor of the dutch. It's registration changed from N11T to PH-PSI.

Today, another nice pic from Mr. Kristof Vandermoere was added. It's a pic from the Stearman N9912H.

A pic of the Ryan G-AGYY was also added.

The Site has been completely redesigned to be more user friendly. Also a lot new additions where added such as pics from Stampe SV4 OO-PAM, OO-KAT and OO-GWD, FW44 D-ELFW, ...

It was confirmed to me today that the Antwerp based Spitfire will indeed stay in Belgium until may.

Other Sources told me that another P51D Mustang project is making great progress. So we might have 2 Mustangs in airworthy condition in the near future. But more info about this plane when it becomes available.

12th february 2005:

On the 7th february, a Spitfire has arived at the Stampe Museum in Antwerp. The Spit is going to stay there until after the Stampe Fly-inn in May. It is Spitfire MK XIV RN201 owned by HFL in the UK. This Spit originaly flew with the Belgian Airforce.

Spitfire MKXVI TD248 which is privatly owned in Belgium will stay in the UK this year.
