The Block Challenge


There are several ways to come up with the number 100 by using each of the digits 0 through 9 exactly once. Here are two examples:


  • 100=0 + 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+(8*9)
  • 100=78+(3/6)+21 + (45/90)
  • Your challenge is in four parts:
  • Parts I and II) Find two ways, different from the ones above, to make 100 by using the digits 0 through 9
  • Parts III and IV) Find two different ways to make 100 by using the digits 1 through 9 (no 0)
