Advice

I took the BC Calc test, but really I should have taken the AB test. If you are able to grasp all of the concepts during the second semester, then you will be able to do fine on the BC test. I suggest buyin an AP Calc princeton review book, and going through that. I would guess that i probably got a 3 on the test, so it wasnt really worth the money for me to take it. It was very difficult, so only take it if u fully grasp all of the concepts.

I'm attending University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I intend to major in Political Science and then continue into Law School.

• Link 1 - The Box Problem. The site is very interactive with some fun applets and such. The directions are very step-by-step and it's pretty hard NOT to get the solution. If you pick a wrong choice, the box will pop up and let you know you're wrong. It has both the graphical and the calculus solutions.
• Link 2 - The Volume of a Vase Problem. You use the cursor to pick points on the side of the vase, and then export the points into TI Interactive. Once there, you can easily get all the equations you need. There are directions on the site for setting up integrals with your calculator.
• Link 3 - The Length of a Pipe Problem. Similar to the vase problem above. You pick the points and set up the integral like before. The directions listed on the site are the same as the vase problem.
• My Great Problem - Plot points on picture to find the sinusoidal function.
