How did I do on the AP test?

For me, the multiple choice portion of the test was the easiest.  I was surprised at how easy the problems were compared to Mr. Block’s sample problems from class.  I feel that I did really well on this part of the test.  However, the free response questions I found quite difficult.  I think that the sample free response problems that Mr. Block gave in class were easier than the one’s on the test (found above).  Overall, I feel pretty good about the test though and think that I will get the four that is needed by my college.

Advice

The biggest piece of advice I can think to give is to find a group of friends to work with.  Everyone is always better at certain problems, so it was a big help for my group and I to combine our knowledge and teach each other.  Also, make sure to do some homework, or at least look over the assignment to make sure you are able to do all of the problems.  Also, it is a big help to read the book before you start to learn something.  If you don’t, you will be extremely confused and frustrated in class when Mr. Block starts to teach.  Outside of calculus, my advice to anyone entering there Senior year is to enjoy it.  I know it sounds cliché and you probably don’t believe this, but it goes so fast!  I used to not be able to wait to graduate, but now that I am, I am actually really sad.  Although I am excited for college, I am going to miss Athens and all of my friends so much!  Take lots of pictures over the next year- you’ll be glad you did!

Me

I'm attending Grand Valley State University Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, just outside of Grand Rapids. I intend to major in Business Management or Theater Management with a minor in dance. My plan is to transfer to NYU or one of a few private New York Schools after a year of two at Grand Valley.  I would have liked to go there next year, but my mom is having a hard enough time with me moving three hours away, let alone half way across the country.   My dream is to one day dance on Broadway or become a Radio City Rockette though and I know that New York will give me the greatest opportunities.  I am actually going to an audition next week in Chicago for the Rockettes.  Since I am not even out of high school and they only take 112 out of 10,000 girls who audition, I do not plan at all on making it.  However, after attending the audition, I will know what I need to work on and then, hopefully, I will make it in a few years!
