Swifthawk and the others
decided that we should move on out and back to the city of Soldran, I was
expecting to stay another day, so we could fully heal, but that seemed
to not be the case.
We left, rather hastly
and soon arrived back at the battle grounds were we defeated the old necromancer.
A sight the forest will clean in time. Although it seems the party
had a moral question to deal with suddenly. Should we bury the body.
I said no, its a waste of our time, and the body is fine where it lay.
I believe buried or not, no one cares to remember him. Barthlemew
disagreed. I found that odd, for he didn't even think about burying
the goblins he slaughtered. Why would this evil human deserve better?
We all moved on, except Sentagur who stayed back to wait with Barthlemew who proceeded to carry the bured body back through the forest towards the farm, eventually beginning to run, leaving Sent behind.
Meanwhile up trail, we arroved at the site of our first meeting with the undead animals. I went off trail at this point to search for the old mans campsite. Which doesn't seem to exsist around these parts. Marr, Swifthawk, Jaden and Skye all made it back to the farm, I finall arrived and we began to speak to the farmer and Tollers of our encounters. The farmer became upset at one point, but was calmed down and some entered his house to rest.
As we spoke to the farmer
we all saw Barthlemew walking down the road to Soldran with the dead body.
We worried somewhat about Sentagur, but he too eventually showed up at
the farm. As he arrived I left back into the woods to search further
for the evil necromancer's camp. In the woods I came across a goblin
war party heading for the farm. Obviously this was not good and I
ran back out to warn my friends, I called out "GOBLIN'S" and added "TWENTY
OR SO, WITH WEAPONS, COMMING OUR WAY!"
I ran for cover as Swift
and Sent charged in at them for there own reasons. Swifthawk went
down first, seeing this caused Sklyla to run out into the field in a panic.
I stayed hidden watching the fight. Sent was brought down by four
creatures, there tactics seemed to be less violent and more into keeping
us alive and captured. Jaden stormed in on his horse. I came
out of hiding seeing Swifthawk down and Sent overbeard and fired two of
my magic missiles at a pair of goblins pinning Sentagur. This allowed
him to break free, but put me victim to spears, I fell to the ground in
darkness.
The party fought on, finally being overbeard and outmatched by the goblins. Down and out the party is at the mercy of the goblins...
