I have decided that dear journal is for children and will now be entering log files, for I am a professional adventurer now. The thrill has taken over. Despite the fact that we were almost killed and our still in much need of help.
After putting out the second fire, Mithramir was able to keep Skye with us for now. Although our journey back to the watcher home, would be long, and the night would be cold. I helped Sentagur walk, he is slow enough as it is, with a bad foot, I fear we would be days. Arriving at camp, we quickly made the place feel stuffed. We ate some food, although we are lacking in it. While Marr and I went outside to discuss matters. He wished for me to grant him access to my spells, in exchange for his own. I offered to teach him a specific spell, under the condition that he would not stop to search a body while the party was in need to help again.
Meanwhile inside the party discussed as to where the old man's home would be. The wastelands, to far, they concluded that it must be near.
That night I taught Marr
a spell, and memorized one myself. Finally I fell asleep.
Morning brought good
news to our party. Skye's mouth began to move again. She felt
bad about her lack of agression, we assured her it wasn't needed, agression
that is. Whether she listened probably not, for she went on about
her bag and how her magic was lost. We ate a little, as I watched
to watcher cook, I am growing an interest in that art as well. When
Mith returned and healed up Skye, Sent and Swift some more, it made our
stay seem as though it would be less lenthy. I am sure the wood watcher
is pleased about that.
As we ate Marr decided
to be nosy and cast spells about the house. He discoverd that spring
had a magical aura to it. The Watcher didn't seem to aprove of Marr's
casting, for he didn't answer any question about it.
We rested for the day and we should be on the road back to Soldran soon. Our discovery, or conclusion to the goblin raids is; The old man's necromacy on the undead animals scared the goblins from hunting in the forest, forcing them to raid villages. If this is true which I believe, it would have helped to have captured the goblins early on, rather then kill them, which seemed to be the party's goal. Although I believe everything should have a chance, my lesson learned is that never assume something is up to no go for no reason...
