Appearance:
Apok appears a normal human in good physical shape. He has tribal tattoos, which run from his neck (both sides) down his shoulder to his hands. Apok wears his Naruni pistols in thigh holsters on both legs, his other pistols are worn in holsters on his lower back. He carries his Vibro Knives in his boots.
Background:
Apok was a Oni child born on a small Oni colony in the empire, which was annexed by the Kreeghor just a few years after Apok’s birth. The kreeghor did the usual decimation of the planet and killed most of the inhabitants. The survivors were taken as slaves and helped to rebuild the planet as the Kreeghor saw fit. Apok’s family was killed but he managed to survive by hiding. Although he was eventually caught by the Kreeghor force. He was put to work as a general laborer. Once the planet was finished being rebuilt the slave pits became gladiator pits. Apok was a young adult at this point. Apok was lucky enough to be strong and fast. He survived the first few bouts that he was in. Although the trauma of this experience made him insane (see above). As Apok survived more and more bouts him and the other “champions” of the arena were taken and given the opportunity to “volunteer”. The “volunteers” were taken for grisly experiments of the Kreeghor who were attempting to create a new race of warriors.
These warriors were originally to be cannon fodder but those that survived (very few) had extraordinary abilities and were given positions as elite soldiers. Apok, was transformed into a more predatory being. Even though Apok was physically transformed by the process he was the same person underneath. He had not forgotten the death of his family and his time in the slave pits and still had the insanites he developed with his time in the pits. This led him to rebel against his Kreeghor masters and flee. Apok did this on his first deployment as a soldier. As soon as they engaged the enemy, Apok hijacked the closest spacecraft and fled to phase world. Although he was pursued and fired upon for being a traitor. Apok was being chased by many fighter craft we he came upon a worm hole. The fighters kept firing upon his ship as he took a last chance ditch into the wormhole. Apok survived the trip, but his ship barely made it. He was dumped by the wormhole into the space around Rifts earth. He had to crash land his ship on earth as it was about to loose all life support systems. So Apok found himself on this strange world, but he was happy to be alive and free of his captors.
