2nd Lt. Errol Blake
Background: Errol Bradford Blake Jr was born in CS Iron Heart into a family that was under the employment of Coalition Forces. His father, a Captain to the assembled forces taught him the ethics and strengths of both noble honor as well as the ideals of the Coalition at a young age. Errol's father deeply believed in the protection and well being of fellow Americans so the duty of a Coalition soldier was simple for him. Quite simply put, the Blakes believed that the protection that the Coalition gave to Americans from the savagery beyond the CS walls was worth fighting for, and felt that although some people considered the CS States' tactics to be a little cruel it was worth the cause. Naturally, as the only son of a CS Officer Errol was schooled and trained to someday become a proud Coalition trooper as well alongside his father's aspiration for his son's success. As Errol grew his father changed into a more ruthless leader than a father, pushing Errol harder and harder to complete his studies...claiming that no son of his would be a grunt. It was over Errol's teen years that he'd found his father had become a more aberrant personality and saw that he'd once changed from a Captain whom his troops followed for his leadership qualities to a slight bit of a dictator. It was then that Errol swore that he'd always be a leader to his troops and never a tyrant, should he ever make it to officer's rank.
Schooled at the base and commonly known as "Little Blake" amongst the soldiers stationed at CS Iron Heart, he was known as a child for his willingness to help out in the low-security officers that surrounded his father's quarters. As he grew older he was invited to watch soldiers practice from afar, and it wasn't long until his fathers' peers themselves were supporting Errol's decision to attempt officer's school. Due to the on-base schooling and cadet training (ROTC style) he graduated high school with high marks in mathematics and computer skills. Immediately after graduation he enlisted in the service and was sent to basic training in CS Chi-town as the top candidate that year from CS Iron Heart. He graduated Basic as Squad Leader and was sent an invitation to Officer's Training due to his high exam, basic scores, and pulled strings from approximately eight letters of recommendation from officers including his father in CS Iron Heart. During training, however, he was discovered to also have talent with Psionics and his training was shifted to prepare him for PSI-Bat's officer training. His overall studies were halved to incorporate his psionic preparation, and before he knew it he was pinned with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
Errol returned to CS Iron Heart with a squad of Dog Boys and CS grunts as replacement for a dwindling supply of Psi-Bat soldiers. He was assigned to an officer's position to oversee an outfit of troops including Dog-Boys and a squad including two sergeants and four corporals. For the last three years until the age of 24 he's seen the duties of a CS Psi-Bat Lieutenant, occasionally hunting down known magic users and assorted renegade dog-boys in the area.
Until now, that is, as he finds himself sitting in his office flipping through his inbox to see reassignment papers for transfer to Psi-Ops as a Special Forces Military Specialist.
Note: Errol is killed as a result of an experiment done on him after a time jump into the world of Chaos Earth. The experiment is done at an Unknown Military Installation.
