Mike Vorhees

Background:The older sibling in the family Mike had dreams of joining, and becoming like his hero Roy Fokker as a fighter pilot. His father worked as a freighter captain and his mother worked for the military as a Records Keeper, and while they didn't approve of their son's choice, they supported it to the fullest extent he could, by teaching him how to fly the family Cessna. Also while growing up, he developed his taste for racing, evenutally entering the baja run where he placed 7th in position, but 1st in points.
At 18 He signed up for West Point Academy, and passed the entrance exam. Once at the Academy, he developed a "loner" attitude, preferring to hang out with a small number of select friends, who all had similar goals. He later became an Armor Officer, and he fought in the final battles of the Global War. After the global war, he and his friends went to the RDF Academy and passed, with Voorhees becoming a Raidar X pilot, where he excelled amazingly.
Personality:
Takes everything in stride, even if it doesn't look like it, and has the ultra rare ability to maintain a nearly perfect neutral facial __expression (when he wants to). Has a natural ability to take charge and is capable of thinking on his feet, with the ability to make his own luck. Will always take the most pragmatic approach to any given situation, and he's more than willing to use the Regulation book for Toilet Paper if he feels its neccessary. His parents and sister were killed at Macross Island in the initial Zentraedi attack, and feels that they should be shown no mercy, period.
Special Notes:
His Raidar X (034) is named "Old Glory 3", and custom painted in a mottled blue/gray color scheme, with the radar antenna painted to look like the American flag if seen from the top down.
