Having been the illigitimate child of the infamous serial killer, Manson. Darren never knew his father, only his name after he had turned 16. Upon the completion of high school, Darren had no where to go and hadn't really been allowed to go out into the real world always being couped up in that orphanage.
One day, after living on the streets of Salt Lake City, Utah, Darren found himself changing somehow. Thinking that he had been slipped some drugs, walked through a mirror in a dumpster, as though it was a doorway. He ended up in a strange land of darkness. Scared... he walked back through. Ending up on Earth, yet, this wasnt the Earth that he had remembered it.
This is a world filled with monsters, much like what he had turned into. Darren found himself able to change back and forth into his humanself and his monster self. He soon had forgotten his name, having almost starved in avoiding a military faction known as the Coalition and no one wanting to help him. Darren was once forced into eating a human corpse. He cant remember if he had killed the poor carcass of a human.
A year down the road, still deathly scared to return to a land known as the Nightlands, still not knowing the name of the place, Reaper has found himself gravitating more towards moving south, away from the coalition. He has found that voices haunt him, always talking to him from the shadows and almost trying to guide him to the darkness.
Reaper eventually ends up walking deliriously to a city known as El Paso. He almost died of dehydration when he found the Rio Grande and drank from it. It saved his life. He now walks the streets of El Paso looking for acceptance, yet, in this city, there is very little acceptance for someone like Reaper. He has had a few run ins with the Hammers, a gang of human supremicists. The wildcats and Troggs want nothing to do with Reaper, leaving Reaper to walk the street alone, a bum, feeding off the garbage of others.
On this day, Reaper has gotten lucky, he found an armor that fits him in good condition. Armor known as Urban warrior. He walks along and through the alleys of El Paso. Eventually he walks into one alley where there is a strange fog in front of a man that is without armor or weapons. But another man, who's eyes are filled with hate, holding a sword of some sort walks towards the man.
