Rifts Story
Our story starts with the city of Ishpeming, or better known as Northern Gun. The city is known to be very affiliated with arms dealing to non-Coalition and Coalition communities and individuals. This is something that the Coalition States has looked down upon. The city itself has not yet outlawed magic, but may soon be with sudden outbreak of crime throughout the city. Most of the blame for the crime is the mysteries of magic and so forth. Another qualm that the Coalition has with The Northern Gun is the fact that education is allowed to the average citizen in the form of reading, writing and so forth. The city has a rather formidable army, including a small contingent of the infamous Glitter Boys. Although, due to the size of NG militia, the Coalition States would not risk a confrontation with Ishpeming as of yet. Not while they have the Federation of Magic, disputes with Free Quebec's government, the Xiticix. the Pecos Empire and Tolkeen. Currently, there are plenty of Coalition State spies inside of the city keeping an eye out, but not for just the industrial trade patterns of the Northern Gun, but with the gangs within... This is where our story begins... Please read the responses to understand better how the campaign of the Ivy and Chrome forms:
You may notice that some of the chapters sort of recap other groups and in later or earlier responses. This is a result of multiple player parties in the game. At one point in time we nearly had twenty groups. Those chapters are yet to come.

This is the chapter where Marcus, Ranma, Pete, Romana and To'Mas enter the game. The Blue Angels finally find Gruber, the Chrome Leader, only to have serious complications, which takes them towards the heart of the Vampire Kingdoms.
This is where the group enters El Ciudad Juarez and they get split up and have a small war with the Juarez police and Feds. This is also the first encounter with the demon, Dro'Lazz and the return of Chris Vale� and the first appearance of Hummer.
This is where the battle between Dro'Lazz and the group occurs.
In this chapter Lance, Magdalen and several new players joined the game. A fight between Lance and Barry occurs and this is where the groups initiate the final preperations to travel into the vampire kingdoms.
This is about everyone's venture through El Ciudad Juarez.
This is the entire chapter of Champion's Quest till he found the demon of his demise.
This is the chapter that includes, the disappearance of Mors, Barry, and the seperation of the Ivy Teams into two warring groups plotting each others deaths.
This is the chapter that shows the adventures of Barry up until he meets Lori. Read this chapter of mystery revealing things about Barry's background, the mystery of the tenebrae and the emergence of drop commandos.
This is where everyone meets Tyran, Centak, Ramias, Blue-6 and the hordes of other PCs that come into the game and search from the Northern Gun and try to save Atreides.
Drake's Ivy Teams finally reach the Pyramid in Chichen Itza. The intrigue and killing begins here.
. Ripper and Gruber plot and members of this group plot the demise of Ivy One. They head into the pyramid and hope to beat Drake to the relic.
This is where Mors, Jess and Jekaw meet up with Torch, Jerry, Ricky and other members of the Northern Gun party who are lead by Centak. This explains the hellacious jaunt through a war with the Northern Gun Militia and the resurrecting Chrome Gang.
This is where the lost souls get thier birth in the game, and traverse across the wildernesses out of the Northern Gun.
This is the introduction of Kredule (AKA Dave in the Long Winter Group) Coruscatan, Kryyn, Raziel and Sara Buckeye to the game.
The battle for the Chichen Itza Pyramid. This is where the infamous battle with Lord Camazotz occurs and the events leading up to Magdalen disappearing with the relic.

This is the convergence of everyone through two rifts into one location. This is where Kredule, Cory, Sara, Kryyn and Raziel meet up with Drake and members of the group Mors was with at one location, known as ground Zero. The escape of Drake's Ivy One team from the Chichen Itza pyramid.
This chapter is entitled the coalition encounter. This is the chapter where a majority of the PBEM players at the time had a standoff position against only 4 obviously evil coalition soldiers. This chapter also includes the introductions of Fael, Okami, Kobi and the return of Nick and Jedite.
This chapter is entitled the Longshot. This is the chapter in which Lance journeys his way to get out of the Vampire Kingdoms as Lori is forced to work with Chris Valee and Gruber to do the same.
This chapter is entitled The Lost Souls. This is the chapter in which Drake and his friends are to march north towards the Anne Harbor (New Lazlo) to meet up with Lori and the others. Kredule and Cory split from the team to form Flash in Time, which will be a future chapter. Kryyn and Raziel also break away to go to the Northern Gun to get one of the BlueAngel's mechanics to try and repair the damage to Hummer's chasis.
This chapter is entitled The Hunters. This is where one of the first guest appearances by the infamous Sara Buckeye. In this chapter we see Kryyn, Hunter, Raziel, KT and Slate battle it out with the Chrome in the backstreets of the Northern Gun.
This chapter is entitled Flash in Time. This is Cory and Kredule's journey which leads them to the Phaseworld Center
This chapter is entitled The Lost Souls. This is where the group eventually encounters the town of Redding and reunite with Tyran and meet Ricky.
This chapter is entitled Chains of Conspiracy. These are the adventures of Barry and Siefer leading up to the fight between Barry and some killer apes on the phaseworld center and a conference about Dro'Lazz at the libraries of Bletherad. Finally, the events leading up to the confrontation with Champion and Synshaw.
This chapter is entitled Sara Buckeye. Yes this is the travels of the mysterious Sara Buckeye. This is the start of her journey and the story behind her adventure in which alot of the PCs believed her to be stalking thier characters. Find out and read if she has been stalking your character.
This chapter is entitled Pass the Torch. This is the journey of Torch from after he leaves the group with Tyran, Ricky, Centak and such and goes out on his own and eventually finds Shade, then Magdalen after fighting some giant monster spiders. He leaves this finding a new group of heroes... but who?
This chapter is entitled CS campaign. This is the roots of the coalition game, where Daniel and Frans encounter the barfight with the Chrome downsider.
This chapter is entitled Encounter with Drake. This is the further adventures of Sara Buckeye in her quest to locate Drake Biltonman.
This chapter is entitled The Encounter in the woods. This is the events leading up to the fight with the Coalition in which Kryyn and Lori return to the Lost Souls group. It ends with Cirrus getting ready to fight Cirrus.
This chapter is entitled Training Day. This is the training of the psi-ops group and then thier travel to thier first encounter with some blood sucking, web shooting monsters.
This chapter is entitled Raziel Vs Kryyn. This is the events leading up to and including the battle between Kryyn and Raziel, in which a battle with the Chrome nearly erupted again.
This chapter is entitled Raziel. This is the events that join Raziel up with Eshantra, Ricky, Seth and Acruix in the area just north of the magic zone.
This chapter is entitled Lt Errol Blake. This is the travels of the infamous Liuetenant who is capable of living within the CS conditioning without killing his d-bee enemies until the right time.
This chapter is entitled Dweomer City. This is the journey of Kredule with Radament and Karrde. He then travels to Dweomer city to have an encounter with Brethan Dzzir. After getting a package from Karrde from Dro'Lazz, Kredule treks to Anne Harbor.
This chapter is entitled Louisville. This is the travels the further travels of Drake, Lori, Tyran, Mors, Kryyn, Jenna and the others of the Lost souls group at that time. This is the prelude to the crazy fight with the mechanoids.
This chapter is entitled Barry Vs Synshaw. This is the fight in which Romana, Siefer, Barry, Synshaw, Rhianna and Champion all have a massive fight with each other
This chapter is entitled The Game of Chance. This is the adventures of Luccas Chance, Fael Innis, Ramias Dobson, Atreides, Torch, Magdalen and many others that must face off against Dro'Lazz and Lord Camazotz.
This chapter is entitled Redding. This is the CS groups arrival to the Town of Redding where the meet up with Errol, Chris and Gruber. Then thier journey to Anne Harbor.
This chapter is entitled The Mechanoid Encounter. Drake and his group have just met up with Geist and the massive fight with the Mechanoids occurs. The formal meeting with Nilsomar and his daughter Michelle occurs here.
This chapter is entitled Anne Harbor. This is the convergence of Ricky, Eshantra and Raziel with the Flash in Time group and the CS soldiers of the Psi Ops squad. Raziel is assassinated in this chapter.
This chapter is entitled The long tentacle of Atlantis. This is the journey and revenge of Synshaw after the battle with Barry. This is the events leading up to his second engagement of Champion.
This chapter is entitled Anne Harbor II. This is the events of the CS group and how they were involved with the group clash that ended two PC lives in Anne Harbor, AKA New Lazlo.
This chapter is entitled Champion's Quest II. This is the events of the Champion meeting Catori and Lance and the subsequent events leading up to fighting Synshaw for a second time. Eventually, Champion goes off on his own as Lance and Catori leave for the Northern Gun and meet up with Maranna and K.T.
This chapter is entitled Chains of Conspiracy II. These are the events of Barry, Seifer and Karak't that leads in a fight against a Magot of Hades across Coruscatan and finally back to Empire City in which they are forced to confront the lovely Caisha. A fued in which Siefer and Karak't have a disagreement over the welfare and future of Caisha.
This chapter is entitled Chance Takes. These are the events of Luccas Chance, Kasandra, Fael, Ramias, Gideon Chance, Darian, Jake and another guest appearance by Torch as they enter Lazlo and eventually meet up with Drake.
This chapter is entitled The Long Winter. This is the story of the travels of Raven, Kila, Chris, Shade, Kredule, Nero and Akasha. This is the chapter in which Akasha is killed attacking Kredule.
This chapter is entitled Synshaw. This is the story of the Syshaw's search and destruction of Champion, Rhianna and Anja.
This chapter is entitled Back to the Roots. This is the return of Alec, along with Karrde and Samuel Jensen. This continues on the fight against the Chrome gang, which eventually leads them into a jaunt into Germany...
This chapter is entitled A Slave's Glory. This is the travels of Ravic, Eshantra, Reaper and Bruno and the preperation of the El Paso gladiatorial tournament and a run in with Greven, a vampire of great power.
This chapter is entitled Toy Soldiers. This are the mishaps of the CS group and how Lt. Errol Blake mysteriously disappears from thier ranks. This also includes the chat posts of thier night on the town.
This chapter is entitled ReUnions. This is the convergence of groups: Lost souls, Pass The Torch, Game of Chance, Sara Buckeye and Genesis. Where Alec and Kira talk again since she left the Northern Gun. Sara finally contacts Drake as Jedite and Nick and alot of the old gang find Drake to warn him about his amulet. Tensions between To'Mas and Mors rise when Jenna and Mors are hit by a sniper. Luccas and his crew invite Drake and his crew to dinner... when... All hell seems to break loose.
This chapter is entitled the wanderer. This is the adventures of Bull and Jarenth through the deserts of Africa. Bull eventually awakens to find that it must have all been a dream... read to find out.
This chapter is entitled Longshot II. These are the adventures of Lance, Maranna, Catori, Scott, Magdalen and K.T. in which a catastrophic barscene leads them on a chase for an antidote for a rare blood infection. Thier chase ends them up in England.
This chapter is entitled Nicodemus. This is the further adventures of Kila, Errol, Raven, Nero, Shade, Chris and Stefan. In this tragic chapter, Nero is slain in an epic battle with demons. The group finally finds the mysterious Nicodemus and then travels to North America.
This chapter is entitled A Mother's Pride. This is Sara's further adventures into taking a young boy named Chuck under her wing. After two years of training, he becomes a formidable apprentice to the stealthy and deadly arts of the Buckeye assassin system. The adventures lead them into coalition and eventually some of the other groups.
This chapter is entitled Psi-Operations. This is the further adventures of the CS campaign as they attempt to spy on the pass the torch group.
This chapter is entitled The Lazlo Gauntlet. This is the chapter in which the Pass the Torch group encounters the Psi-Operations team.
This chapter is entitled Seperate Ways. This is the fragmentation of the reUnions of the five groups
This chapter is entitled The Empire of the Pheonix. This is the mishaps of the Game of Chance group in Africa, fighting the pheonix empire and war, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
This chapter is entitled Ivy One. This is the journeys of Bull, Jenna, Kira, Ricky, Patrick and the rest of Drake's group. This entails the encounter with the coalition on the farm where To'Mas betrays the group.
This chapter is entitled The Death Knight. This is the travels of Mors Nocturna since his days with Drake and the rest of the Ivy Parties.
This chapter is entitled The El Paso Gladiators. This is the events leading the Eternal Slaves group with the Chains of Conspiracy group in preperation for the gladiatorial tournament in which both Seifer and Ravic have both signed up for. A prelude the the infamous Wriste and the up and becoming Tenshir. More runins with the vampire, Greven also appear in this chapter.
This chapter is entitled Darkness Falls. This is the travels of Tyran, Lori, Jedite, Hummer and Nick. This is where Jedite recieves his fatal shot from a force of monsters.
This chapter is entitled Cascading Tides. This is the travels of J'etyla, Dr. Allen, Ford, Alec, Karrde, Cpt. Davie Jones and the others that went on the ocean faring. It includes a bit on Long Winter group travelling on the ocean. Eventually, this leads to Karrde and Ford doing a job for the black market. They meet thier fiery demise in this chapter. Jarenth dies also.
This chapter is entitled Target's Deception. This is the further adventures of the Psi-Operations team as they attempt to hunt down their targets and make the small squad worthwhile in the budgetcrunching eyes of the coalition states.
This chapter is entitled Dirty Works Inc. This is the travel of the Longshot group to England and back in search of Lord Walston. This journey ends up with Lance, Jetyla and Scott disappearing. Catori disappears elsewhere.
This chapter is entitled The El Paso Tournament. This is the gladiatorial battle of the El Paso Bronco Arena. Ravic and Siefer battle it out with Juicers, Tmen, borgs, crazies and the like in this tournament, some to the bitter end. The chapter involves the events of the two year post as to what happens to Bruno, Eshantra, Karak't, Reaper, Ravic/Cord and the happenings of the Vampire Kingdoms. The chapter ends in a battle between Reaper and Ravic. Who will be the victor?
This chapter is entitled Torch's Quest. Kryyn and Torch end up in El Paso, eventually Kryyn leaves Torch to venture off on his own. This part of the game ended prematurely and probably is a dead game.
This chapter is entitled Getting set in Stone. This is the travels of the darkness falls group until they meet up with Mors in Louisville. This also includes and encounter with Kredule and a meeting with the council of learning in Lazlo and a meeting with Nilsomar.
This chapter is entitled Journey of Nomads. This is the further travels of Bull and then the introduction of the Eternal Slaves group in thier hunt for Ravic and to get Karak't a better gun.
This chapter is entitled The BlueAngels. This is the adventures of Jenna Page. In this Chapter, she tries to find Lucas after his disappearance, loses K.T. in a fight with Gruber and Ripper. Warren dies and more intrigue as she teams up with Alec and has a runin with Sara Winters.
This chapter is entitled The Demon Incursion. The further travels of Raven, Kila, Shade and Chris. They come to find that they must fight against demons and an Ice Queen and end up meeting Sky and running from a small army of Oni Demons. They eventually must run and end up meeting Xavious Lomar.
This chapter is entitled Perception's Distress. This is the story of Torque, Ken and Elizabeth until finally meeting up with Warner and Kasandra.
This chapter is entitled The Predator. This is the story of Synshaw Malkahn and his stalking of certain people.
This chapter is entitled The long road to Atlantis. These are the adventures of Galen and Lucien in their trek into and in Atlantis.
This chapter is entitled The Oni War. This is the Long Winter group trying to fight off the Oni Menace and meeting up with Xavious, Sky and Cereth. Chris and Kila leap through a rift. Raven, Shade, Cereth and Xavious try and solve the problem with the Icequeen.
This chapter is entitled A day in the life. This is the story of the group in the Skraypers Campaign.
This chapter is entitled Take a Chance. This is the chances taken groups short stint on Seeron before they meet up with the Long Winter Group in an unknown setting. Kasandra, Blue6, Patrick, Nero and Nicodemus return.
This chapter is entitled Night Reaper. This is the story of how Reaper escapes El Paso into the Chaos lands and meets up with Luccas, Warner and Kasandra.
This chapter is entitled Out of Time. This is the further adventures of Ken and Bull.
This chapter is entitled Chilled Past. This is the further adventures of Kila and Chris, who have teamed back up with Nero. This is where Kila and Damien Mayview fight in an almost fatal fight.
This chapter is entitled Chances Lost. This is Game of Chance and Chilled Past group thrown together. Towards the end, it focuses more on the chilled past group as they discover that they have found the time of the Rifts.
This is chaptered The Brothers Black. This is the chapter where Lance and Remus meet up with the CS Campaign, Eternal Slave group and Sara Buckeye.
This chapter is entitled Broken Past. This is Game of Chance and Chilled Past group thrown together. Towards the end, all the groups come together and then split up and go thier seperate ways.
This chapter is entitled The Outback. This is Game of Chance group where they meet Ricky Williams. This is where they travel through the outback. This is where Kaine has a fight with Luccas Chance. The group eventually moves on out of the PBEM to better things.
This chapter is entitled The Riddle. This is where the Long Winter Group save Cereth's kids and meet up with Atlantis group.
This chapter is entitled Walkabout. This is the adventures of Kaine after being humiliated by Luccas Chance. The adventure ends abruptly as the player to the character backed out of the game.
