OFFICIAL DISBANDMENT OF DF1 PLATOON.
> I have been aware for some time now that the intrest in Delta Force 1 has since dissapated due to the fact that Novalogic released DF2. Some people believe that to play DF1 after playing DF2 is for want of a better word a step back in time.... I personnally feel different in the fact that when i established this squad with Sean, there was no DF2, and therefore i find that DF1 holds a lot of fond memories. I do on the other hand listen to the feedback i get from the lads, and lass in ~SAS~. I hope this explains why i have disbanded this unit. That and the lack of intrest that members gave the game. I hereby use the powers invested in me as General, and commanding officer of this unit to OFFICIALLY DECLARE THE DELTA FORCE 1 SQUAD AS DEMOBILISED. There will be in addition a history link, that i encourage all members to read, and learn about the history of your squad.

> I would also personally like to welcome all members to ~SAS~, as i am aware to the fact that the most i have seen of some of the members is in the form of posts on the message board....! I also know the fact that if you have been recruited into this unit, then you must have what it takes, so welcome aboard... my only regret is that i havn't met half of you yet.... i will get my chance when i return from bosnia. I look forward to it.

REQUIREMENTS OF MEMBERS AND BRIEF HISTORY
This team was established in 1999 by Danny and Sean. Both are serving members of the armed forces.It is a U.K. team consisting mainly of U.K. members, but we are not predjudice.... If you are good enough, then we will enlist you into the team. But remember... we only accept the best... You will need a few things first to get you started..
> Firstly you will need a program called ICQ, which will allow me to keep in touch with you, and will also tell me when you are online, to organize future games, and practice sessions... if you do not have it, download it from the link at the bottom of the page...
> Secondley you will need a program called Roger Wilco, which is a walkie talkie application that runs alongside your games online, allowing you to talk to other players rather than type.... if you stop to type you are dead... It can also be used to alert other members, to enemy presence, contacts, etc. (although you will need a mic) If you do not have it, download it from the link below....
>Thirdly you will need to be a specialist in a field, i.e. Sniper, close asault, ect. This team operates entirely on team work, and not a free for all.... supressing the enemy with snipers, while a team assualts the position from a flank, is always a good tactic, but to do this you need Teamwork..... Remember. There is no I in team.
> finally you will need a sense of humour, coz when things go bad, you gotta be able to laugh.....
