Even Cinderella's Fairy Godmother couldn't beat a Chinese tailor for speed...
We needed clothes for next year's wedding, and we commissioned the tailor to make us four bridesmaids dresses, a wedding qipao, and a suit and tuxedo for Steve in four days.  This is the fitting the day after we were measured for our clothes.
The dressmakers did their magic on antique looking sewing machines and by hand, and were able to turn out these outfits in three days.  At the end, the suit and tuxedo needed some minor alterations (pants needed to be lengthened--no surprise, since they probably had never had to make such long pants before), and these were done in minutes, while we waited.

The dressing "room" was this corner of the store, with a scrap of purple curtain draped across the corner to save us from prying eyes!
Properly outfitted now, we were ready to be made pretty so that we could have some nice pictures made.  The dress and tuxedo were fresh off the presses (literally), and a dab of make up later (some of us needed more than others, but even Steve's pretty face needed some touching up.  He was initially alarmed when they penciled in some nice bushy eyebrows, but they assured him that it was necessary so that his eyebrows didn't blend into the background)
