BONNEY EAGLE 2003

There are fewer pictures this year! What a bummer! I ran out of batteries and was not able to get any there. I will have a spare set from now on.

I saw a wicked car crash at the show. I was out of power so did not get any pictures. A bunch of Chevy owners was leaving the show and as they were leaving the first one did a burnout and the others followed suit till the last one. He was driving a 69 Chevelle, 502 powered. Maybe he was trying to prove a point but he was screaming when he left the driveway, tires smoking, when all of a sudden he was sideways to the road, still full onto the throttle. Must have caught some traction somehow because he shot across the road broadsiding a telephone pole and then nose-diving into a ditch, burying the nose in dirt. Came up out of the ditch, dust and dirt flying, and straight through a chain link fence where he came to rest in a field. No one was seriously hurt. The sad thing is that there were two children in the car. Stuck throttle
