Welcome to my website. I am a personal researcher and developer of Artificial Intelligence. This is where I make my work available for anyone who is interrested in this very fascinating field. |

Where the artificial cockroach animat as created by Beer (R.D. Beer. Intelligence as Adaptive Behaviour: an experiment in computational neuroethology. Academic Press 1990) consisted of a few neurons and made use of relatively simple, pre-coded interactions between them, the iModule will display complexity and adaptibility POSSIBLY beyond anything previously seen in such a software implementation. For example, the diagram below implements a single Farve-specific EMD (Elementary Motion Detector), that exhibits adapted-direction selectivity, and spatial frequency inconsistency responce. (For an explanation, see ADS EMcD). This is simply one of many such computational structures the Farve iModule will make use of in it’s computational architecture. |
