Welcome

This is Bear our gentle giant. He was the most
lovable and friendly dog you could every want.

We got Bear when he was about 2 yrs. old. He was good
with children because his past owner had a day care
center and he was around children all the time but
Bear was abused by his past owner so we took him.

He was very thin when we first got him,
but when my mother got done feeding him he fatten up nicely.
At first I was afraid of him because of the reputation that
Rotti's have. As I got to know him I fell in love with him
and we became best friends ~S~ and were always together.

Bear loved to chase the rabbits around in the yard, we use to
get him for that one (lol), yet he was afraid of our cat. To
get your attention, if you were sitting in a chair he would
come over and sit down on your feet, so you would rub his big
head. He was quite heavy. Bear weighed in at 115 lbs.

In later years Bear developed athritis in his back end and had
trouble getting around some days. The Vet said it was something
that most Rotti's eventually develope. So we never petted him on
his back side for it seemed to be very painful for him at times.

We lost Bear when he was around 6 yrs. old. We
believe someone poisined him and the vet did his best to save him
but to no avail. We love you Bear and will never forget you.

This is me and Bear in the back yard.
He was a ham for the camera ~S~.
