    Qualifiers


    A qualifier decrease or increase the quality signified by the adjectives and adverbs they modify (more colorful).

    Example of Qualifiers

    very so pretty
    quite just even
    rather enough a bit
    somewhat still a little
    more almost a (whole) lot
    most fairly a good deal
    less really a great deal
    least   kind of
    too   sort of
    Rules: A qualifier usually precedes adjectives or adverbs, decreasing or increasing the quality signified by the words they modify (more colorful).
    Tests The handsome man seems __________________ handsome.

    very
    quite
    rather
