Ogre ran at his opponent and threw his mace. It missed and the Draganom beast slashed at Ogre and hit Kiguul, both weapons clanged in classic fashion. Ogre growled and roared pushing against the beast with all his might, the Draganom laughed and flung Ogre aside. The Draganom shot a blast from his mouth and Ogre punched it away. Ogre thought, he’s much stronger than I. Why was his blast so easily deflected? The beast walked angrily, Radu landed in front of Ogre and he said, “Shock, you okay over there?” Shock replied, “Not so good, he broke my stomach membrane!” Radu said, “Shockwave get Shock out of here now! Me and Ogre have this!” Radu knew that he didn’t “have this” but someone had to fight in Charge’s place and it might as well be him. Suddenly a dragon as big as Radu jumped out of some nearby bushes. It wielded a small sword, and it charged the beast. The monster blocked with his shield and stabbed the dragon in the chest and punched him in the face. Radu called for Shockwave who had watched the whole thing. She landed put her uncle down and went for the dragon. It said, “I-I must get to Charge! I have something I need to give him!” Shockwave grabbed him and Shock and flew off.
Ogre slowly returned to his feet and this time Radu noticed the wound in his shoulder, his eyes opened wide and then he looked at the Draganom and snarled. The Draganom said, “You look defenseless and your only weapons lie with that half dead ogre over there. You are defenseless.” Radu raised his arm and from the top of his wrist spouted a blade. “Not as defenseless as you think.” The demon laughed.
Lizoid was at the HQ and was looking through his books; he had an energy sample. You see every living life form has his or her own unique energy signature, to detect the different energies would be nearly impossible especially to the devolved humans of “society”. Draganoms and dinosaurs have trained to build their own lives but to keep what’s naturally theirs and to revolve around the well being of Meslin and the planet. The energy signatures can sometimes only be detected through magic, machines, or very gifted energy manipulating life forms. Lizoid took the sample and set it on a table. Lizoid began to chant and read from the book and a black crested vile puffed out of some green smoke. Lizoid took the vile and the book to the lab, there Lizoid has now matched the energies, and the creature they were fighting was none other than…
Ogre jumped and flung his mace at the beast and it blocked with the shield and then blocked Kiguul with his sword, Radu came from behind and kicked the beast in the back, no effect the kick had no effect! Radu was bashed from the beast’s tail and was thrown into a boulder. Ogre tried to kick the beast but it slashed at Ogre cutting the mace’s chain. Ogre threw the handle at his adversary and it just bounced off of his face, He just stood there, unblinking. Ogre ran with a now limping arm and tried to strike with Kiguul. He missed and the demon knee-ed him in the belly. Ogre spat blood and began to lose consciousness from blood loss. Ogre shook it aside and ran at the beast he threw Kiguul and it slammed the demon’s chest, puncturing the armor and coming out the other side. The demon shrieked as he pulled Kiguul from his chest and slowly began to regenerate. Ogre fainted and Radu lay unable to move but he watched the whole thing.
“Devlon” Lizoid said. He continued, “Devlon is the demon they are fighting and he is not an enemy to be faced alone.” Mephisto said, “If he is truly Devlon then we need all of the help we can get. He cannot be taken lightly!” Lizoid said, “You are a Night Warrior, one of the last. Please show some dignity!” Mephisto looked at Lizoid and said, “You’re right, we need to know where the dark spiral sword is.” Lizoid replied, “We can use a locator spell but it will be a while to cook one up, and we need some sort of item that links the sword to the spell. We need to go home, where Spott Heed was born.” Lizoid said, “We need not jump to conclusions my friend. Look down in the library there’s bound to be a book on the sword, we’ll go and we’ll find it.”
Devlon laughed, his wounds were healed and two big holes in his armor were exposed. Devlon took up his weapons and Ogre was unconscious, Radu couldn’t move wrecked with pain. Just then the rest of the S.S.F. landed and everyone looked at Devlon. Devlon grunted and with a smile he said, “You have no Idea how much the mistake you are about to make will cost you! Have you learned nothing yet from your injured friends!” Bartholomew stepped foreword and said, “You may talk tough, but can you back it up?” Devlon smiled, “Oh I can back it up the question is are you ready?” Bartholomew said, “You bastard, bring it on!”
Lizoid and Mephisto sensed something, they both looked outside and they saw Shockwave carrying Shock and some unknown saurian. Lizoid and Mephisto met Shockwave and the injured dragon, the dragon spoke, “I have a gift for Charge, let me to him please!” Lizoid and Mephisto both looked startled, and they led Shockwave and the injured into the building.
