Charge sits up covered in a cold sweat, he brushes his covers aside and looks at Mortar fast asleep without a care in the world. She doesn’t even notice the horror Charge just experienced. Charge stands up and fits his pectoral armor upon himself and walks out of his quarters and he sees the open part of the base as a mad house. Diamonds are running everywhere, for those of you who don’t know what a Diamond is: Diamonds are a race of people from a planet called Singe. They look like humans but are a bit different; for one thing they are completely void of facial expression except through their eyes which are pretty much the only things on their face. Diamonds populate Meslin in residential areas and then the two main forces the Vulture clan and the Badger clan. Now the leader Ripper 1 was consulting with a sleepy eyed Lizoid who could barley keep his eyes open. Charge walked over to Lizoid and said, “Go get some sleep, go back to bed.” Lizoid complied and started to go back to his room. Charge turned around and said, “Now what’s the problem?” Ripper 1said, “Someone or something attacked our base destroying everything and killing fifteen of my men, FIFTEEN!” Charge said, “Hold on I see you have everyone here, why?” Ripper 1 said, “I thought that we could rest here. We have no place to go and the Badgers hate us so this was our natural selection.”
Charge said, “Did you see who done it?” Ripper 1 replied, “No, but he was huge and came in under our radar. Plenty are injured and we need to set up camp here, this place is big enough to house the entire military, you should be able to house two-hundred Diamonds.” Charge said, “Well okay but as long as you’re here, I am in command! Got it.” Ripper 1 said, “Yeah I got it, but don’t get cocky, we’re here temporarily.” Charge nodded and proceeded back to bed. Ripper 1 said, “Oh yeah, one more thing.” Charge turned around and Ripper 1 said, “I want to find the son-of-a-bitch that did this to us.”
Charge woke up and saw that he was alone in the bed. He walked out and saw everyone running rampant and Charge looked at a television and saw that something had just attacked a military base and it was just a crater now! Charge said, “What the hell has that kind of power!” Charge said, “All right people I need three volunteers, now!” Lizoid, Mephisto, and Shock stepped foreword and Charge continued, “Something’s out there and I want to know what it is. We’re going to search the…” Charge was interrupted by Hasbro who said, “Charge a message came for you, it was electronically sent so I couldn’t id the sender.” Charge went to a computer and it read: Charge, come to Stegosaur Canyon, come to the West Point peek at 6:30 PM and come alone.
Charge said, “All right then, Shock…” Shock replied, “Yes.” Charge continued, “Come with me, I’d be foolish to go alone.” At Stegosaur Canyon Shock was hidden and Charge sensed nothing. It was thirty minutes past the deadline and Shock came out and said, “Maybe he’s not coming.” Charge said, “No he’s coming, and I know who it is, who is wrecking havoc upon us. He’s haunted my nightmares for weeks, I haven’t got a decent sleep in a long time.” Shock said, “Who is it?” Charge almost said something but then the ground trembled and a huge power was destroying the ground beneath them and then the ground exploded and Charge and Shock jumped and stayed suspended. Charge looked in fear to see his adversary, alive after all of this time.
Big-claw laughed as he saw Charge shudder in fear; he looked a bit like he did before but this time he has been rebuilt. Big-claw’s face had an eye replacement and his shoulder mounted some sort of robotic mound. His left leg had a computerized box just above the knee while on the opposing knee on the hip housed a triangular box. His arms are covered in a silver covering and his left arm had a slit in it while his right had a power meter looking contraption and a circular light. Big-claw flew at Charge and kicked, Charge blocked with a forearm and used the other arm to power punch him in the face. Big-claw flew to the ground and stood up. Charge threw an energy blast at him and Big-claw’s triangular hip box created a force field that blocked the blast. Big-claw’s arm with the meter rose and the meter lit up. Charge felt an enormous amount of energy and readied himself. The circular light lit up and Big-claw fired a strong blast at Charge, Charge veered right narrowly missing the blast. Charge watched as the blast hit ground and blew up a bluff in the canyon. The explosion was massive but small around nuclear terms.
Charge said, “Is that all you’ve got?” Big-claw said, “Why don’t you try me?” Charge replied, “Well then, let’s go!” Big-claw powered up his attack again and using the other hand to charge up a blast that he frequently used in the fight with Charge. Charge powered up an Attack Frenzy and readied a Cross-Cutter. Big-claw yelled, “I’m going to kill you, you son-of-a-bitch!” and fired. Charge said, “I have no time for threats!” and returned fire. Both powers were even and were tearing up the ground around the two powers. The beams were even and the ground around them was breaking away and cracking apart. Charge could give no more power as well as Big-claw; both fighters could advance no further. Suddenly Shock flew in and blasted his most powerful energy attack into Charge’s Cross-Cutter energy attack and that gave the added boost by a little to crawl up and slowly push Big-claw’s attack back at him. As Big-claw’s blast reached him it exploded and Charge and Shock disappeared and reappeared away from the explosion. Big-claw was gone, but where is he?
