Lizoid approached the ship, it was like a computer mouse in shape but it was burned and damaged. Mephisto said, “Well whoever was piloting this thing didn’t do a very good job.” Lizoid waved his hand down signaling for a lower tone for his comrade to speak in. Ogre grunted and then the ship’s door opened. No one came out and Lizoid signaled for everyone to follow him. Bartholomew said, “What do you think we’ll find in there?” Lizoid said, “I wish I knew.”
Inside the ship there were no lights, Lizoid held out his hand and created an energy ball which he held in his hand for light. As they walked through the ship it became apparent that no one was there until a door opened inside the ship near Lizoid. As everyone walked in they saw a green robot with a blaster for a hand. He awoke and said; “Help, I give message, help, message…” Lizoid looked at him for a second and then said, “Alright let’s get him back to base.” At S.S.F. HQ the robot was examined and slightly repaired. Charge, Lizoid, Big-claw, and Ogre were all in the repair room. Charge said, “This thing got past our shield, how did he do that?” Ogre grunted a few times and Lizoid was thinking about something. The robot awoke and it startled everybody but Charge and Big-claw. It looked around a little bit and saw who had him in a contraption repairing him. He said, “My name is 0-type. I am only known by this name, I mean no harm but you are all in danger. Soon your island will be under siege by another. True this is one hidden island, but it is much bigger than that. No there are at least seventy lost islands to human society. And this one, Scarlet isle wishes to invade Meslin in the hopes of conquering it.” Charge said, “Lizoid go and contact Rexen, he must know of this!” Lizoid ran out of the room and Big-claw asked, “Why do they want Meslin, we really have nothing worth taking.” 0 said, “They want the resources, Scarlet isle has ran out and slowly they will conquer islands to take resources. If they succeed they will be as bad as the humans who have conquered the planet!” Charge said, “What are they?” 0 said, “Dinosaurs, humans, demons, you name it. They don’t care about others and they surely will present a challenge to you.”
Rexen at his tower got word and said to his adviser a compy, “Get general Gonak on this, we cannot afford for this to happen. The compy ran out of his room as fast as his tiny legs could carry him. Back at HQ Charge was about to leave to look for Yonclearo and Snapper for help and then Kick star, Hasbro, Spiderly, Wormy, and Iggy arrived for hearing of the message. Charge said, “News travels fast huh?” Kick star said, “What are you doing?” Charge said, “I’m going to find Yonclearo and Snapper, they’ll be able to offer some assistance in this upcoming fight.” From behind everybody heard, “Already here.” Everyone looked and Yonclearo was standing just a few feet away. Snapper stood behind him. Yonclearo continued, “We arrived as soon as we heard.” Snapper stepped past Yonclearo and said, “Any idea where they will be coming from?” Charge shook his head and Snapper growled. Charge said, “They have some kind of radar scrambler, for all we know they can take out the shield.” 0 approached from behind and said, “They can, we have one too.” Hasbro said, “What do you mean we?” 0 said, “They created me, I hate them. We are their soldiers and I am the prototype. They gave me too much intelligence and I developed a conscience. I came here to join you.”
0 was in the radar room with every S.S.F. member along with Yonclearo and Snapper. 0 entered in a code into a large radar screen and then hundreds of little dots appeared around the map of Meslin. Charge yelled, “It can’t be!” Everyone was shocked, Charge said, “Spiderly, go and contact Rexen. They have the island surrounded!” Spiderly ran out of the room and then Charge said, “Iggy, go and contact the J.W. forces, they will want to know about this!” Iggy done as he was told and he took off as fast as he could out of the room. Kick star said, “Who are the J.W. forces?” Charge said, “Jurassic Warriors, they are a step below us in the military. They were originally started by Spott Heed after the demonic war against Devlon.” Kick star said, “Do we have enough time to get into positions for war?” Shock said, “We need to defend the capitol, we need to go to Starlight City.” Radu said, “Yes, that’s where they will be gathering their most powerful fighters.”
A day later everyone was in Starlight City and ready for battle. Tanks were everywhere. The latest type of tank was the RXM-800-5 battle tank a descendant of the tank Spott Heed used in the Demonic War. This one was much bigger with two twin blaster barrels and a troop deployment hatch. Five hundred of these tanks were gathered around Starlight City. The recently made bomber the JPG-9-B-Ptero was there too. Three hundred of this planes gathered around the capitol. Charge saw over the horizon several large ships approach and he turned to the S.S.F. and said, “And so it begins.”
NEXT TIME ON WAR OF LAND THE WAR BEGINS AND STARLIGHT CITY WILL BE IN JEOPARDY. BUT IS THE CAPITOL WHERE THE ENTIRE MAIN FORCES GATHERED, THINK AGAIN. IGGY UNCOVERS A TRANSMISSION TELLING WHERE THE S.S.F. SHOULD BE, BUT WILL THEY GET THERE IN TIME, FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON
