“Fuck, I can’t believe that all of our efforts were for nothing, he’s still alive!” Shock exclaimed. Xiah said, “Look if we’re hunting him we’d better stay quiet, otherwise we’d be better off hunting snails. We need to keep it low.” Lizoid said, “I smell him.” Bart said, “Who?” Lizoid replied, “Devlon, he’s near.” Lizoid sniffed the ground and went past Xiah and said, “You’ve got his scent all over you, did he attack you?” Zero said, “Yes, he attacked me and then ran into the pack.” Xiah said, “Yes, he attacked me. He…” Five demons jumped out and grabbed Xiah and Zero. Two ran off with the saurians. Three stayed, Lizoid attached his terror talons from his back and said, “I knew this was trouble.” Bart drew his ax and Shock took up a defensive stance. A demon bearing its teeth and looked rather human said, “Master Devlon wants them alive, he’s very interested in them.” Just then Lizoid ran by and stopped ten feet away. The demon’s neck splurted blood and its head came off. Lizoid licked the blood off of his wrist-mounted talons and said, “You demons, fools. I cannot believe you told us that.” Bartholomew slashed his ax at a demon with wings and a sword. It blocked with its sword and Bartholomew shouted, “Lizoid, go after them. We’ll be fine, just go NOW!” Lizoid looked at him and then ran off. Shock attacked the last demon and punched it in the gut. It punched Shock in the face and knocked him down.
Lizoid raced through the forest. He leapt over a triceratops and continued on. A small flock of compies ran by in alert madness at Lizoid’s speed. Lizoid while running put his talons upon his back and then ran faster. He heard something he was being followed. He stopped and turned around of all people Yonclearo ran by and said, “Keep up Night Warrior.” Lizoid took off as fast as he could and ran beside Yonclearo. Lizoid said, “How did you know of this?” Yonclearo said, “I can smell that fowl demon lord for miles.” Lizoid looked foreword and smiled, he wasn’t alone now.
The two demons reached a clearing in which they ran to a cave. Xiah and Zero were roaring and yelling as loud as they could. The demons put them into a little room and ran off as the room closed up. Lizoid said, “A clearing…” And Yonclearo said, “And a cave with the wretched smell of demons!” Both fighters drew their weapons at the cave entrance and ran in. demons jumped out of everywhere but Lizoid and Yonclearo were slashing and cutting them into bits. Finally they reached the room demon free and Lizoid said, “We’ve got to get in there.” Yonclearo said, “Here.” He slashed at the door and it did nothing. Lizoid then grabbed Yonclearo’s sword and threw it at the door puncturing the door. Lizoid took out the sword and wrenched in his claws and ripped the door apart. Yonclearo sheathed his sword and said, “Your just full of ideas aren’t you Night Warrior.” They both walked into the room and Zero was tied up and Xiah was free. Xiah said, “He’s Devlon, I captured him, I’m telling you to kill him!” Zero said, “How dare you betray me you son-of-a-bitch! I hate you, I thought we were friends and you lie to our friends, you evil demonic bastard!” Xiah said, “You won’t fool these guys, no sir. They’re elite fighters.” Yonclearo walked up and cut Zero loose. Yonclearo said, “Devlon what kind of fool do you take me for, you’ve got some nerve!” Xiah backed up and said, “Gotcha!” Xiah grew bigger and his skin ripped apart to reveal armor and spikes. Devlon revealed himself once again and he took a golden disk from the ground, a demon must have taken it when no one was looking during the battle. Devlon said, “Fools, I cannot believe that you fell for that trick. Yonclearo said, “Where the hell is Chris?” Devlon smiled and said, “That fool, he won’t be coming back. I’ve been granted a new life and since my life is anew his is no longer connected and he now lay where he was buried some time ago.”
Yonclearo snarled and said, “Bitch, I’ll cut you into little bits and feed you to compies!” Lizoid said, “Get the disk!” Both saurians ran for the disk and Devlon jumped up and crashed through the top of the cave room. Lizoid and Yonclearo jumped up and followed him to the surface. Devlon knocked Yonclearo down and Lizoid slashed and cut Devlon in the back leaving six long bloody cuts through Devlon’s armor. Devlon roared and grabbed his sword and slashed at Lizoid. Lizoid blocked with his talons and said, “Devlon, you’ve slacked on your training haven’t you?” Devlon said, “Well I’ve been dead, I don’t think that I can train in that condition.” Lizoid kicked Devlon in the ribs and stabbed him in the chest. Devlon punched Lizoid and regenerated his chest and said, “Well I see you’re a better fighter than I remember Lizoid. Yonclearo came from behind and slashed and hit Devlon’s sword. Devlon turned and said, “Fool, that sword will not defeat me a third time! I dare you to try it!” Yonclearo growled and then Devlon punched him in the face knocking Yonclearo unconscious.
Lizoid got up and limped over to Devlon and shot a blast at him and knocked Devlon down. Devlon floated back up to his feet and said, “Well I see that you’ve decided to try and attack me again. Idiot, I think that your time is over.” Devlon yelled, “Come now!” A band of demons rose from the ground and grabbed Yonclearo and then returned to the ground. Devlon’s chest opened up revealing organs and bone and he grabbed the golden disk again and put it in his chest. His chest closed and his power gave a substantial increase. He turned and said, “Lizoid, I hope that you know that I am going to kill you several different times at once.” A green blast of energy hit Devlon in the face knocking him backward. He got up and wiped blood from his chin and then Charge landed from the sky.
