Charge landed on a far tower and the Cloaked Disease floated some feet away. Charge said, “What you did to Turbo has now sealed your fate. I’ll kill you, my niece will be the only one you kill today!” Charge yelled and he brought up a green aura. The Cloaked Disease laughed and said, “Kill…me!” Charge flew and punched the Cloaked Disease in the head eight times. It grabbed Charge by the leg and threw him into a tower and then he blasted it. Charge flew out of the explosion and punched the Cloaked Disease in the chest. The CD (Cloaked Disease, too long of a name to type over and over and over again!) punched Charge and he blocked it. Charge kicked at the CD but it caught his leg and spun around and around preparing to throw him. Charge powered up and blasted a cross-cutter at his foe throwing the Cloaked Disease into a tower and destroying the tower completely.
Charge turned around and blocked a punch from the CD. Charge punched and missed and the CD punched him in the face. Charge powered up for a second with two energy blasts, one blue the other yellow. The CD flew at Charge and still Charge floated. When the Cloaked Disease was a few feet away Charge grabbed its torso while still holding the blasts. Charge fired a cross-cutter that blew the CD into the base while blowing up an armored section. Charge flew down to the place where the Cloaked Disease had landed and found nothing. The Cloaked Disease came up behind Charge and got him in a headlock. The Cloaked Disease started to laugh as he charged up a powerful energy blast. Charge yelled and flames engulfed his figure, Charge broke free and kicked the maniacal menace hard. It went through four sections of the base before it stopped itself. The CD listened and it heard something burning but it was loud like something was on fire right behind him, he paid no attention. Charge power punched the Cloaked Disease in the back of the head shooting it foreword. Charge flew after it and grabbed it and knee-ed it in the back and set it down. Charge’s flames went down and he started to pant while the CD started to get up. It turned around and said, “Nice trick, I have one you’ll enjoy.” The CD brought up a black energy aura and its eyes started glowed blue. It flew at Charge and clotheslined Charge and then started to punch him like crazy while he was on the ground. Charge went into an attack frenzy again and grabbed the Disease’s arms and head butted it in the stomach. Charge stood up and said, “It’ll take more than a strength enhancer like mine to beat me into a cold grave!”
Three hundred S.S.F. members waded through Meslin’s underground water system. Bartholomew said to Kick star, “I guess we’re the only humans here huh?” Kick star said, “Yeah, I used to think that humans were the dominant race of people on the earth, but with this one island it would seem that we humans could lose in one day in a war.” Somewhere else in the tunnel’s three hundred residents Mortar was talking to Shock, “She’s dead!” Shock said, “Yes, I cannot believe that my child is gone, my only offspring.” Shockwave came up from behind with Radu and said, “There you are, where’s Turbo?” Radu cringed, he knew. Shock said, “Dead.” Shockwave said, “No, why, how!” Shock said plainly, “She just wasn’t powerful enough and she was easily defeated.”
Charge grabbed a punch and pulled the arm and punched the CD in the face. The Cloaked Disease backed up and threw an energy blast at Charge who avoided it. Charge shot three of his own at the CD. The CD veered left than right than left again and barley avoided all three. It said, “Charge you fool, how dumb do you think I am.” Charge said, “I don’t know, why don’t you tell me?” The Cloaked Disease turned around and saw three energy blasts lined up one after another behind him and he said, “Is this some kind of joke?” Charge power kicked the Cloaked Disease into the center blast and the other two homed in on him and exploded. The Cloaked Disease fell and Charge threw a blast at the Cloaked Disease but it deflected it. The CD flew up and punched Charge in the chest. Charge punched the CD in the face, in return the Cloaked Disease punched Charge in the face. Charge kicked the CD in the side and then kicked it in the other side with the other leg. The CD backed away and so did Charge, it was a stand off, an even match!
In the Tunnels Lizoid who was leading the surviving S.S.F. members shouted, “Alright break! Three hours is enough for now, take a rest!” Hasbro now up front with Lizoid said, “How much longer until we reach the backup base?” Lizoid replied, “I don’t know, a week at least.” Hasbro said, “A week! Why a week?” Lizoid said, “With the labyrinth of tunnels under Meslin that’s the best guess.” Hasbro looked up and thought about what might be happening on the surface.
