EP.54 NEWS FROM HOME
THE UNIVERSE IS SAID TO BE AN ENDLESS VOID HARBORING PLANETS, STARS, COLONIES, ALIENS, AND MANY OTHER THINGS BEYOND COMPREHENSION. FOR ALL YOU KNOW THERE IS ANOTHER PLANET OUT THERE CALLED EARTH WITH ANOTHER YOU UPON IT. SOME SAY IF YOU LISTEN CLOSE YOU CAN HEAR THE UNIVERSE EXPANDING, CONTRACTING, OR HEAR THE LAST REMNANT SHOCKWAVE OF THE BIG BANG THAT SUPPOSEDLY HAPPENED SO MANY YEARS AGO. WITH ALL THE LIFE OUT IN SPACE SOME FEAR THAT THE “ALIENS” WILL COME TO GET US, BUT WITH SO MUCH LIFE AND DIFFERENT CULTURE HOW CAN ONE BE SURE THAT OTHER LIFE FORMS HAVE CHOSEN THE SAME DESTRUCTIVE PATH AS US.
Charge sat in his office tapping his desk in boredom. It had been exactly four months since the last ordeal with the X-2 and all of the hell that it attracted. Charge opened up his desk and pulled out a remote and turned on a stereo on the other side of the room and he started to lean back in his chair and relax when Redina over the speakerphone said, “Radu is here to see you.” Charge replied, “Send him in.” Radu opened the door and grabbed a seat. Radu said, “We just got word from home. Alei is under assault from the Carmens. We expect the entire galaxy to erupt in war.” Charge’s eyes widened and he said, “Why should I care, Alei turned its back to us the day our father sent us into the military. Besides we’re the Saurian Special Forces not the Galactic Special Forces. It’s not our business.” Radu slammed a paper on Charge’s desk and said, “Oh no well then look at this paper from the high council of Alei!” Charge took up the paper and started to read. His eyes widened and he said, “NO WAY! Alisha’s fighting in this war as well as our parents!” Radu said, “This is terrible because after they’re done with Alei they’re coming here! Make a decision Charge, fight them now with an entire galaxy at your side or fight with one planet full of worthless idiots destroying the planet anyway!”
Charge said, “Okay.” Charge tapped a button on his phone and said, “Redina contact the elites, we’ve got an emergency, and hold my calls please!” In the meeting room Charge said, “Okay, on my home planet Alei an army of conquerors is after the solar system Kenecti and after they’re done there they’re coming here. My family and me will be leaving for Alei tomorrow and Alisha will be picking us up again. Any questions?” Iggy said, “Well yes, who will be left in charge after you leave.” Charge said, “I have already decided upon that, Big-claw will replace me as leader for the time that I’ll be absent.” Spald said, “Well what do we do about any major problems that surface while you’re gone, for all we know Devlon could come out and take advantage of your absence.” Charge said, “I assure you when something is decapitated such as Devlon that as a result will die from its massive injury.” Spald said, “Yeah that stopped him the past two times didn’t it!” Charge said, “I get what you’re saying, well I have full confidence in you all, besides you are just as strong as myself so don’t worry about me not helping out in something crazy like that.” Bartholomew said, “Well what about the fact that Big-claw betrayed myself and so many others!” Big-claw stood up and said, “That was a long time ago so I wouldn’t like you brining it up okay, I paid my dues!” Charge said, “In any case, I doubt that this’ll take more than a few weeks and that if any problems arise that you will rise to meet the challenge. We leave five A.M. tomorrow, Alisha will be picking us up in her warship and we will be heading off to Alei from here.”
The next morning the entire S.S.F. was gathered around Alisha’s ship and the door opened and Alisha walked out with two other Aleis. One was tall and beared a scar over his right eye and he had one arm. Where the other arm was supposed to be was a robotic arm that beared various dents and paint worn parts. The other was a female with large muscles and had a long scar on her left arm and was missing a lower tusk on the same side. Charge said, “Well I’m glad to see everybody except for you father.” The male Alei approached Charge and punched him in the face. Charge only slightly moved his face and the male Alei said, “Good, yes do you see what you’ve become from your battle experience.” Charge walked to the ship’s door and walked inside ignoring the punch. Radu walked by with an enraged look upon his face. Shockwave and Mortar walked in with looks of surprise they didn’t know what was happening.
After that the ship started to hum and lifted into the air and proceeded to go into the atmosphere. Charge lay in a large room with Radu Mortar and Shockwave and the male Alei came in and said, “Where’s Shock and Turbo?” Charge turned his head away and Mortar said, “Turbo is dead and Shock left us because of Turbo’s death.” The old Alei said, “Well then, yes. My name is Fallout and I am Charge’s father. My wife is Guntyala (I just made up the name). Fallout approached Charge and said, “Son, you should be happy, I made you what you are and you reached new heights. You should thank me.” Charge said, “You force me to kill, I watch my sister go insane and then I have to kill to survive! Thanks for nothing!” Charge walked out of the room and Radu said, “Yeah thanks a lot.” Radu walked out of the room as well and Mortar said, “What’s his problem? Why do they hate you?” Fallout said, “Well, it’s a long story but it’s a long way to Alei so I guess I can tell you.
A cave in Meslin’s mountain range started to tremble and then several demons came out carrying five tombs and said, “Master will be pleased with these.” The tombs shook and then the lids blew off. Battrik, Terro Terrog, and Robotor climbed out of the coffins and the other two wielded two other freakish looking demons of the apocalypse. Yonclearo standing on a building in Starlight City glanced over in the direction of the mountain range and shuddered.
