LAST TIME ON WAR OF LAND CHARGE AND LIZOID WENT INTO THE TRICERATOPS VILLAGE TO FIND ONE OF THE EIGHT GENOS THAT ESCAPED THE BIG TECH COMPLEX. LIZOID AND CHARGE HAVE FOUND ONE WHILE KICK STAR AND HASBRO FIND AN ARTIFICIAL PTERASAUR MAN. TWO FOUND, SIX TO GO TODAY ON WAR OF LAND.
DAY-1/6: 19 AM-Meslin time. The authorities had arrived and were studying the unconscious Geno in Kick star’s home. The Geno awakened he asks where he is and Hasbro says, “You are in Starlight City. You asked for help is what my friend over here says. Why do you need help.” He pushed himself up and said, “Both of you, follow me.”
Lizoid stepped over a log with a deer over his shoulder, Charge was asleep and Lizoid had hunted breakfast. Charge awoke when he heard Lizoid, Lizoid said, “This is breakfast, I’ll have to gut it and you can start a fire.” Charge said, “It’s a little big for breakfast. Why so big?” Lizoid replied, “We’ll need it, we’ll be on the move all day, we’ll pack in a bag or something.” Charge said, “But the deer is too big.” Lizoid said, “This isn’t all for us, half of it is. The other half I’ll give to a pack of compies or something.” Charge said, “Anything out there we’re in the middle of nowhere.” Lizoid smiled and said, “We’re near some ruins, don’t bother looking at a map no one knows about it except the military, King Rexen, and us Night Warriors. This place was destroyed in the first Dino war.” Charge and Lizoid walked to a large clearing with a creek flowing through it. Charge looked up and saw an amazing sight, ruins that were almost as tall as the trees. He gawked at the amazing craftsmanship on these buildings, it reminded him of the stone cities of Alei, and how he missed home.
Kick star and Hasbro were led to a park where this Geno with the name of Bob (what a strange name) had led them. Hasbro said, “He may lead us to the others, we may have a chance at saving them. Then all of a sudden all of the Pterosaur men jumped out of the trees and attacked. Hasbro and Kick star knew it was a trap, Hasbro threw an energy blast at one of the Genos knocking it down while Kick star fought two at one time. The battle was hopeless they needed one more fighter. An explosion sounded knocking one of the beasts down, Shock flew in, and now the numbers were even. The fighters picked their targets and attacked. It seemed easy to fight people if they’ve had no previous training and Shock, Kick star, and Hasbro were mopping the floor with these creatures. One of them shot a blast at Hasbro who threw a Dragon Blast at it, a Dragon Blast is an attack that is shaped like a dragon and absorbs energy in the mouth and then it bites its target and then detonates. It grabbed the Geno and then detonated killing it. The other Pterosaur men flew off but not before Shock had a chance to capture the betrayer Bob. Bob said, “I did lure you into a trap, but we thought if we could take you out we would live here in peace, that you wouldn’t pursue or hunt us down. That’s all please don’t kill me!” Kick star looked, the last Pterosaur man was long gone, and Shock restrained himself from killing Bob, until Bob started to cry for his lost comrade. Hasbro was tired and sad for he had made someone fear for their life until Bob got up and attacked Hasbro. Hasbro knew that he was too powerful for the Geno and he tried to only avoid and block attacks until Bob started laughing and took the upper hand on Hasbro. Hasbro was on the ground and before he could get up Bob fired a blast at Hasbro, Shock came in and knocked it away, saying, “If you want a fight here I am you son-of-a-bitch!”
Charge and Lizoid were traveling right through the ruins. Sometimes they would find bullet casings, ax heads, guns, and graves. Lizoid explained, “The Dino Wars happened when humans tried to conquer Meslin. They discovered a fault in our shield. You arrived through the top, that’s one way to get in, but the humans; they arrived in the thousands. Rexen, expecting an attack sent his troops to the front lines. The war spread through all of Meslin and no one was untouched by the conflict. The humans you see here in Meslin are the descendants of humans from that horrible war, humans that we let live. The war happened before I was born, I can tell you this, Kick star arrived here through the fault in the shield. Also he told me about a man that he fought in the battle with the Dark Horde. This man Shane Winters killed Kick star’s family thirteen years ago while trying to steal from his family. Kick star was away at the time, but his parent’s brothers, and sister, were all dead. Kick star told me this when I asked him about where he was during the fight with Big-claw.” Charge looked up he sensed something. Somebody was fighting far away. Charge and Lizoid had left Triceratops village long ways back, about sixteen miles, these powers were faint but Charge could sense it, he said, “Lizoid someone is fighting, to your right its faint but someone is definitely fighting out there.” Lizoid looked out, Charge was right, someone was fighting very far away, about on the other side of the island. Charge said, “We can do nothing about it now, all’s we can do is track the Geno, its here isn’t it?” Lizoid said, “Yeah it’s here, but it’s hopeless if we stay here talking all day.”
X-1 was on a building, it looked over and seen Charge and Lizoid, and it leapt down and furiously growled at the intruders. Lizoid looked up in horror to see a large nest full of giant eggs. Lizoid said, “Charge we have some problems, maybe it’s the eggs that will hatch in a few days.” Lizoid heard something else; five more X-1s leapt down from a building. Lizoid and Charge took up fighting stances; this was life or death.
