DAY-1/7: 30AM/ Meslin time. Charge and Lizoid were surrounded, on every side there was an X-1. Lizoid said, “Jungle attack and Attack Frenzy, we’ll beat them that way right?” Charge replied, “We have no choice.” Both fighters powered up and both used their strength enhancing techniques. Charge led off punching two in the head and disappeared. Lizoid came around with a smoke capsule and threw it into an X-1’s face and before it knew it, it was on the ground with three stab wounds in its forehead. Charge used a power kick to take one’s rib cage and turn it into dust. By the time Charge and Lizoid were done only one X-1 was left. The X-1, the original, it powered up mourning the loss of its children. It ran at Lizoid, who was paralyzed with fear, Charge decked the brute before it could attack Lizoid. Lizoid, still standing ran at the X-1, the X-1 took a slash at Lizoid but Lizoid disappeared, Lizoid reappeared at the nest. It was worse than he had thought there were hundreds of eggs, at least a foot in diameter all on top of a fallen courthouse. Lizoid was about to strike when one more X-1 ran at Lizoid and knocked him down. Lizoid roared and slashed wildly in the air cutting the X-1’s arm off. The X-1 extended its arm and grabbed a hold of Lizoid’s neck choking him. Lizoid couldn’t breathe and Charge was fighting the other X-1 below. Lizoid was helpless, just before he lost consciousness an ax chopped off the X-1’s other arm, Lizoid was set free gasping for air coughing and then vomited on the building. Bartholomew had saved Lizoid from an uncertain fate; Bart took his ax and cut the screaming X-1 in half killing it. Charge was using his Attack Frenzy and attacking the X-1 before it could even think to avoid.
Shock stepped away this thing was trained to fight, this one was trained to kill. Shock threw a barrage of energy blasts and Bob avoided each one only to get blasted in the face by another blast. Shock, Hasbro, and Kick star were at a stand still. This thing was too strong, the more they fought the more Bob’s power increased. Hasbro gathered everyone and said, “If we can get behind him and blast him then we’ve got him, distract him so I can attack him.” Shock ran at Bob and lashed out with an energy attack that Bob avoided. Shock threw an easily dodged barrage of energy blasts, but he wasn’t meaning to hit Bob. Hasbro appeared behind Bob and used his saurian drill attack (energy is bolted to spin and rifle itself into an opponent.) and it exploded and knocked Bob to the ground.
Charge got knocked down, the X-1 ran off into the forest after knocking Charge down. The X-1 ran at an incredible speed, Lizoid ran around to cut it off, Bart ran the other way. Charge was chasing the X-1 into a trap that Lizoid and Bart had devised. The X-1 saw Lizoid and Bart ahead and roared. It turned around and tried to punch Charge. Charge quickly blocked with his forearm and grabbed the X-1 by the arm and tossed it like a rag doll. Charge had lost sight of it but Lizoid had not, but before they could chase it, another X-1 had come out of the forest and it jumped in front of Charge. Charge was confused, then suddenly he knew, the eggs were hatching into fully-grown X-1s. Charge said, “Lizoid run! We’ll take care of this. Get help, go back to the base, and hurry!” Lizoid knew Charge was right and he flew off into the distance.
Bob wasn’t dead; he had been knocked unconscious, and caged. His adventure was over. Kick star looked into the distance he sensed a battle. Kick star said, “You guys, something’s going down. Somebody’s fighting.” Shock said, “It’s too far away to tell what’s going on. Let’s check it out.” Hasbro, Shock, and Kick star flew to where Charge, Bartholomew and the X-1s were fighting.
Charge looked out someone was coming. Three powers were approaching. Charge didn’t know what was going on, he thought that three more X-1s were approaching and he didn’t want that. Charge feared the worst if this was true than who knows how many nests were out there. This is bad, about one hundred X-1s here, three supposedly approaching. Lizoid was flying as fast as he could and he couldn’t fly fast enough to his opinion.
Back at S.S.F. head quarters, Mortar was sensing the whole thing and rallied everyone available, Wormy and Iggy. All three started their flight to the fight. No one said anything but all that they could do was think about the news report on the compound explosion. They knew what Charge was doing, he was fighting alongside Bartholomew.
Surrounded, again, Charge and Bart are trapped in an army of mad monsters, will help arrive in time. Will death be a card drawn in the next War of Land!
