EP.1 THE DEMON SECRET
FOUR YEARS AGO, FOUR YEARS AGO IT ALL ENDED. THE FINAL DEMON OF THE APOCALYPSE WAS KILLED. IT IS NOW NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE OF THE YEAR AD AND PEACE AND PROSPERITY HAVE RETURNED TO THE VAST PEOPLES OF MESLIN. UNTIL NOW NO ONE EVEN IMAGINED THE NEW HARDSHIPS THAT STILL LIE AHEAD...
Hasbro was walking in Starlight City and looking around. He now had a wife and a hatchling of his own. Hasbro jr. and Magon, Hasbro looked up and saw something with wings pass over but its wings were different than a Pterosaur’s or a bird’s. Hasbro brushed it off and he and his family continued to walk past buildings and try to find a reasonable place to eat. Hasbro turned around and seen a figure in a trench coat. Hasbro looked at him but a crowd went by and he was gone. Hasbro turned to his wife Magon and said quietly, “We’re being followed. I don’t think that you are what they want, I’m going to lead him away.” Before Hasbro could do any thing his child yelled, “Father!” Hasbro looked foreword and saw the man standing in front of them laughing. The man said, “Ah Hasbro of the S.S.F. glad to meet you. I hope you’ll not mind if I challenge you to a fight?” Hasbro got in front of his family and said, “Why, I don’t understand why you’d want to fight me.” The man said, “Let’s just say if you’re worthy enough I’ll tell you a little secret that might interest you.
Hasbro said, “Fine but not here and not in front of my family!” The man said, “Too late!” The man’s trench coat ripped off and large bat wings ripped out of the coat. The man was really a demon. The demon lunged at Hasbro who avoided the hit and then he grabbed the demon and knee-ed it in the face. Hasbro said, “If you plan to beat me with such a low strength level I’m afraid I may have to submit because I will not fight a weakling.” The demon got up and said, “You’re good, alright fine. Meet me in Tay-ran-too-luss’ death spot. Bring other S.S.F. and that also means Charge! Tonight at 12:35, see you later.” The demon disappeared and Hasbro thought for a moment and said, “Tay-ran-too-luss’ place of defeat, something is going down.”
Charge had become much more powerful than he was four years ago. Constant training has shown him how far he can go but he’s run into a roadblock so to speak. It’s been harder and harder for him to get any stronger. He’s been running into a barrier to where he can only go so far before not being able to go any further, he has almost reached his limit. Charge was sitting down by the S.S.F. building in the garden where they live. He looks like he always did, he didn’t even have bigger muscles but he did have a newer armor. It looked like the first armor he wore but a little altered. Spiderly ran up holding a portable phone and said to Charge, “It’s Hasbro, he says that it’s important.”
Charge picked up the phone and said, “Hasbro, how goes it old friend?” Hasbro said, “Well today I was attacked by a demon. After I defeated him he said for me to bring you to the place where Tay-ran died four years ago. He wanted to tell us a secret as he said.” Charge said, “Alright when is it?” Hasbro said, “12:35 tonight. That’s in two hours.” Charge said, “Alright I’ll meet you there.” Hasbro hung up and looked at a small blue box. He opened the box and pulled out his wristbands and put them on including the one on his tail. Hasbro walked up to Magon and said, “Listen, I have to go I’ll be back tomorrow.” Magon gave Hasbro a hug and said, “Just be careful, you’re going to fight aren’t you?” Hasbro said, “I don’t know, just don’t let anything happen while I’m gone. Our hatchling is only two years of age and I look foreword o him growing older.”
Charge landed at the site. Busted craters and trees rooted up everywhere and no sign of anyone. He had a few minutes before the rendezvous with the demon so he sat down and then his eye shifted. He looked behind him and said, “Hasbro, try and be a little quieter.” Hasbro appeared and said, “Wow, I thought that I had that one down, I guess you still know my energy signal after three years huh?” Charge said, “Ever since Magon you’ve decided to stop but you’ve been training still haven’t you?” Hasbro replied, “Yeah, I guess you can see that. I’ve also been training my child.” Charge looked up and saw a winged figure and then it landed. Hasbro said, “Well here we are. What did you want to tell us?” The demon smiled and said, “I am Bez, I have come to say that someone is trying to revive the demon lands.” Charge said, “Well that doesn’t sound so bad.” The demon said, “No, to how they were during the demonic war!” Charge and Hasbro’s eyes widened and the demon continued, “Ask your friend Ug, he knows all about…” The demon yelped for a second and fell over dead with several arrows in its back. Charge said, “Watch it, we’re not alone!”
Fifteen minutes passed and there was no conflict. Both warriors decided to go back to the S.S.F. building and ask Ug what was going on. Ug was lying on his bed and Charge and Hasbro were standing in the doorway. Charge said, “This demon he said that you knew all about it.” Ug said, “Yeah, the only way that the demon lands can be revived with the demons is if the demon land’s original conqueror was revived.” Hasbro said, “So they’re trying to resurrect Devlon?” Ug laughed and said, “No, Ug may have been the one to carry out the demonic war but his big daddy was the one pulling the strings, Sabastion.” Charge said, “Devlon had a father? Is he Draganom as well?” Ug replied, “Nope all demon. Devlon was just raised by Sabs to have an heir. They are really not related at all and old Sabs is much worse than sonny boy.” Hasbro asked, “Well how do you revive him?” Ug said, “There are four crystals, sapphire, emerald, ruby, and gold. When combined Sabastion’s soul is put back together.” Charge asked, “Together?” Ug replied, “Yes, his soul was separated into four sections. I had the emerald combined with the sapphire but when you destroyed my lab I bet the crystal was too releasing the soul piece.” Charge said, “Wait! Shockwave has an emerald combined with a sapphire in her room that she found in your old lab!”
