EP.3 ENTER THE X-4
AFTER THE FINAL CONFLICT OF CLEANING UP OMEGULA’S WORK THE S.S.F. DISBANDED ON THEIR OWN TERMS. ONLY TWO LEFT MESLIN THOUGH, KICK STAR AND DRAGONIA. KICK STAR, HOPING TO WIN MORE MONEY WITH HIS ENHANCED SKILLS DECIDED TO RETURN TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD. DRAGONIA BEGGED TO COME WITH HIM IN HOPES OF LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE WORLD AND ITS PEOPLE BECAUSE SHE’S NEVER BEEN OFF THE ISLAND. SHE TOO IS NOW AN UNDERGROUND FIGHTER WINNING MONEY THROUGH THE TOURNAMENTS AS THE STRONGEST FEMALE FIGHTER IN THE WORLD.
Beijing China 5:30 AM, Kick star was brushing his teeth and Dragonia was sleeping in her own bed. They had rented rooms in a hotel for the next tournament. Kick star finished with his teeth and walked over to his bed and turned on his TV. The man on TV was speaking Chinese but Kick star could understand what he was saying. Kick star said, “Now what’s going on?” Kick star started to laugh at the man on TV and then he heard a voice say, “What’s so funny?” Kick star looked over and said, “It’s nothing, just some jokes that’s all.” Dragonia was awake and was watching TV and trying to make out what the heck the man on TV was talking about because she couldn’t understand a word he was saying. Dragonia got up out of bed and took some weapons out from her pillowcase and Kick star said, “Man, you weren’t planning on getting angry in your sleep were you?” Dragonia said, “No, you can never be too careful.” The TV switched to some show that talked about demons. The man started to talk about some legend with a demon by the name of Sabastion and said that today was the anniversary of his defeat at the hands of an alien named Freakin. Kick star looked at Dragonia and said, “Maybe we should call off the next tournament and head back to Meslin?” Dragonia said, “You want to go back, what for?” Kick star said, “Something doesn’t feel right, that’s all.”
Back at the Saurian Special Forces base no one had come back since Charge, Hasbro, Yonclearo, and Ug had left. Magon and Hasbro jr. were playing by the main entrance and Shockwave was keeping watch. The main door opened and a busted up and bleeding Hasbro fell to the ground. Shockwave said, “Stay here, we need a doctor!” Hasbro said, “No, don’t. Not yet please. I’m the only one that made it out. The others are dead. This Sabastion is some kind of hell beast, he fired a special energy attack at us and then I couldn’t tell what was going on until I hit the ground.” Hasbro fainted and a few minutes later he was in a bed. Hasbro woke up and saw Shockwave and Magon there beside his bed. Shockwave said, “Are you sure that they’re dead?” Hasbro said, “When I hit the ground I couldn’t sense their energy so that does mean that they’re dead.” Shockwave said, “Then it’s time to activate the X-4!”
Hasbro felt the skin above his eye and discovered a scar. Hasbro said, “Well I guess some permanent injury couldn’t have been avoided from that demonic hell. Magon said, “Please tell me that you’re not going back!” A voice sounded from behind, “He may have to.” Everyone turned around and saw Charge helping Yonclearo walk and Charge had a small amount of bruises on his arms and legs. Charge laid the badly injured and Bleeding Yonclearo on a bed in the Med. ward next to Hasbro and said, “I don’t know where Ug is but I imagine that he’s in big trouble.” Yonclearo said, “I can’t believe how many demons are here. If this continues he may take over Meslin.” Charge said, “Well if everyone comes back we may have a chance at beating our unfriendly foe and seal up his army.” Bartholomew and Radu walked in the room and Radu said, “So it’s come to this huh? I can’t believe that four years is too long for peace isn’t it?” Bartholomew said, “Relax, we should be able to fight whatever is out there.” Big-claw walked in the room and said, “Well is this enough fighters to take on this freak.” 0-type also walked in and said, “I can’t believe peace is interrupted again.” Charge said, “We need the X-4.”
In Ug’s decimated lab Charge put a card key into a vault looking container. The door opened and inside was what looked like an artificial Alei floating inside a tank filled with water. On a control panel on a wall in the vault Charge started to type something and then the water from the tank drained. The thing opened its eyes and then the glass container opened and he walked out. Charge said, “Welcome back X-4. You are needed.” X-4 walked out of the vault and said, “I…have…” Charge said, “It’s okay man. I know that this is hard for you, you don’t have to fight if you don’t want to.” X-4 asked, “Is it right to fight?” Charge said, “In your case and purpose, yes.” X-4 said, “Then I will fight.”
In a cave in the demon lands Ug was wrapped up in metal wires and couldn’t move. Sabastion said, “You’ve grown weak, it looks like you’ve got nothing left to fight with so I’m just going to do a little experiment.” Ug said, “What the hell are you talking about?” Sabastion said, “Just you wait, but of course you won’t be alive to even see your newest creation!” Ug said, “What do you mean?” Sabastion ripped Ug’s head off and tore open his skull. Sabastion threw a green energy blast into the middle of the room and it stayed there creating a vertical green light. Sabastion grabbed Ug’s brain and threw it into the light and said, “My victory is only moments away from happening!” Sabastion started to laugh as a large table full of metal parts floated into the room. Sabastion said, “What’s that, yes a very special weapon designed by Ug himself. Well as it would seem he never built it and he still knows every part, well it’s time!” The parts on the table started to assemble by themselves.
NEXT TIME THE NEWEST BEASTLY CREATURE FROM UG’S MIND IS RELEASED, BUT WHAT IS IT AND HOW POWERFUL IS IT REALLY? IT’S POWERFUL ENOUGH TO ALMOST MATCH THE ALMIGHTY DEMON LORD SABASTION IN POWER! NEXT TIME ON WAR OF LAND X, DEMONIC HORIZON
