Welcome to My Wedding Day
I
wanted to thank everyone for all the happiness what was blessed upon Emily
and I for our wedding. It was a beautiful day and ceremony. Even with the
small group that came to see us everything was perfect. Here are just a few
pictures to share from our Wedding Day
May 26, 2001
We all have a day in our life that changes everything for all time! Weddings
are one of those days. It is the one day when you take the one you love and
the two of you become one. Working together side by side, loving each other
when things are both good and bad and then being there for them when they
need you the most. Giving the support that keeps us going when all else is
failing because of the love that is bestowed upon us by or lovers.
When I first meet
Emily I knew that she was the one for me. We had out ups and downs like all
couples do, but we made it though it all and now we stand as one, together,
always!
We had two London Cabs to transport everyone to the hotel after the wedding
was over for the luncheon we had arranged .
 
It was a beautiful day for the wedding. It was a day many
didn't think would happen for both of us I think!
The big day had come. Angelina, Emily friend spend
the night with us so she could prepare Emily for the next day. She did her
make-up and hair so that she would be looking her best for the wedding. When
I saw Emily for the first time with make-up on I was a bit over whelmed. I
had next seen Emily made up before except in a few pictures.
When we arrived at the Registry Of Marriage (ROM)
around 10am and it was very crowed due to it being a weekend. We
looked around to see if anyone was there yet but no one was to be found so
we waited outside since there wasn't any room inside due to all the other
couples getting married on the Saturday morning. our time was set for
10:50am so we needed to get the witnesses ID card to submit for the marriage
license. As time drew closer Lisa was the first to arrive. She had been
inside some place but we failed to see her. Emily called Felix who was in a
cab and on her way, and due to arrive soon. Next to arrive was Ho land,
Emily older sister and her family, Mon Li, Caleb and Yiling followed by
Bennie, who had made Emily's bocce. Not about to wait any more I decided
that Angelina would take Felix's place as the other witnesses so we could
get the paper work done and out the way. Shortly after doing that Felix
showed up, she had gotten stuck in traffic and that is why she was late.
Waiting out side of the room where the ceremony take
place we took pictures and waited for our name to be called and the room in
which we would enter for the ROM. The over the speakers we heard, "Mr.
Carter, Rose room!" But it sounded like that said, "Love Room!" After about
30 seconds or more the called out again and we heard which room it was.
The ceremony was very simple and to the point. The
funny part was when I had to put Emily's ring on, when I got it the ring was
a tight fit and on that day it seamed like it just wasn’t going to go on as
I fought with it to get on her finger. It was a good ice-breaker for
everyone as they had a nice giggle while I tired to get it on. After getting
her ring on it was Emily’s turn and mine slid on without a hitch.
  
As we stood in from of the judge Emily and I held hands and began to
take our vows of marriage. As I spoke those words to my love, I was so happy
that we had finally come to this point. It was not long coming, we had only
known each other for 2 1/2 years and everyday we fell deeper in love with
each other. Though the months of separation, the internet-chats, the phone
calls and miles between us, we became one!

When you love a person like I love Emily there is only thing that stays on
your mind all the time, it's that parson and making them happy always! Emily
is always with me, no matter where I am, what I’m doing, Emily fills my
heart and soul with a happiness and joy that make me complete. That day we
stood hand in hand and took our vows, I became the happiness man in the
world.
After the lunch we retired to the room
for a few drinks and to relax for a short time. Here
is Lisa, me, Emily and her friend Angelina who where our witnesses for the
marriage.
March 2006: Married for almost five year and it feels
like I just got married yesterday. This is be the best love of all time for
me. Emily keeps me guessing as to what she is going to do next and everyday
brings something new into the marriage so we are never bored
with each other. It's Great to have a good woman by your side, and I do!
