1978-1984:District  lay missionary serving in  8 different United Church of Christ in Japan (Kyodan) churches in
Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. As such, I worked with youth groups, trained teachers, helped to organize educational
ministry programs, and was involved in church music.

1968-1973:Taught English as a second language at Iai Girls. High School in Hakodate, Japan

1963-1967:Taught in public schools in Jefferson County and Moffat County, Colorado
