Audney's Pendant - Enlarged

Many years ago a girl was found wandering the streets of the city Amber with a serious head wound.  She seemed to have no memory of how she got hurt, or even who she was.  A family took her in and adopted her.  Since she didn't know her own name, they gave her a name - Audney, which means "New Found Wealth."  They were kind folk, and took her to their hearts as one of their own.  This family served in Castle Amber, so Audney became a sevant there as well.   Audney served as both maid-companion and guard to Amanda Melody, a scion of the Royal House of Amber. That was all long ago, Amanda has grown, gotten married, and started a life of her own, while Audney has since discovered her true, dark past, and her connection to one of the most powerful houses in Chaos through her Mother Deela of Marlane, and to Amber through the exiled Prince Finndo . Audney seeks to make up for the mistakes of her past, and to learn from them. She is attempting to teach Molly Rose, and Hazdrelion the true ways of the universe, while trying to find her place in it.

Audney has found out quite a bit about her past, including reuniting with Lane, the man she loves.  He's told her some about thier past together.  Read one such story here.
