Club folds, resignation from Ridgeons League
It has been announced that due to the departure of the management team and playing staff, and the finacial crisis that has troubled the club throughout their existance, the cluub has officially ceased as a playing side and will not be competing in the Ridgeons league this season. The club will continue as an organisation, but there will be no playing side this season. former player-manager Orlando Prestidge announced that "Due to my departure and the loss of the playing side to new careers and availblilty, we cannot continue to function as a competetive playing side. We all need a rest from the game, and will think about a reoganisation for the next season. These last few years have been hard but some of the best for all of us involved, the warriors are not dead, just resting."
Player Manager not to renew contract
Warriors player manager Orlando has announced that he is not to renew his contract and will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Prestidge has said that he has got a new job away from the area, and will not be able to keep his commitment with the club. He has revealed that he will not renew his contract at the end of the season, though he may be able to keep at the club in an occasional playing role. This announcement has come as a shock to the club, where the stalwart has been a major player for the last 8 years. He will be greatly missed, and the club is now looking for a new first team manager. Prestidge took the team to a 18th place finish in the table this season after a 5-0 win at Somersham in the last game.
